We have many reasons for believing that Jehovah values us. He has drawn us to him and taken notice of how we responded to the good news. (John 6:44) As we began to draw close to Jehovah, he drew closer to us. (Jas. 4:8) Jehovah also invests time and effort in educating us, showing that we are precious to him. He knows the kind of individuals we are now and the kind we can become. And he disciplines us because he loves us. What powerful evidence that Jehovah values us! Some considered King David to be worthless, but he knew that Jehovah loved and supported him. That thought affected David’s view of his situation. (2 Sam. 16:5-7) When we feel low or face challenges, Jehovah can help us see things differently and he can help us climb over any obstacle. (Ps. 18:27-29) When we have Jehovah’s backing, nothing can stop us from serving him with joy.—Rom. 8:31.
(John 6:44) 44 No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him, and I will resurrect him on the last day.
(James 4:8) 8 Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you indecisive ones.
(2 Samuel 16:5-7) 5 When King David reached Ba·huʹrim, a man of the family of Saul’s house named Shimʹe·i, the son of Geʹra, came out shouting curses as he approached. 6 He was throwing stones at David and at all the servants of King David, as well as at all the people and the mighty men on his right and on his left. 7 Shimʹe·i said as he cursed: “Get out, get out, you bloodguilty man! You worthless man!
(Psalm 18:27-29) 27 For you save those who are lowly But you abase the haughty. 28 For it is you who light my lamp, O Jehovah, My God who lights up my darkness. 29 With your help I can charge against a marauder band; By God’s power, I can scale a wall.
(Romans 8:31) 31 What, then, are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who will be against us?

Sorry for the late update. If you haven't seen my previous post, I recently had a JC meeting after I came out to the elders.
The JC was no longer than 15 minutes. They asked the obvious invasive questions and I lied through that no problem, But when they asked me how I felt about being gay I told them there is nothing I can do about it and I'm proud of who I am and who I've become. They were disturbed to say the least, one of the elders asked me if I felt any regret or sadness because of these feelings and I told him no absolutely not.
They ended up concluding that my non-repentant attitude puts at high risk of sin and there for is a threat to the Spiritual health of the congregation. They said they would call me back in a month or two to see if my feelings have changed. (There is no way in hell I'm having another meeting)
My thoughts: I don’t give a single fuck. I’m actually so happy, it feels like I’m opening the door to freedom! My parents are upset but who gives a shit.
Darren Collison turned down a contract a few years ago because he's a JW and wanted to focus on his religion.
He just signed a temporary 10-day contract with the LA Lakers (UGH).
Wonder if he'll be called into the library??
Basically, because O-ring type cards specify a trigger that returns the targeted card to the battlefield, can other effects also return that card? Is there a written rule or ruling I can point to to verify one way or the other?
Specifically in the situation this question comes from I had [[Athreos, Shroud Veiled]] with a coin counter on one of my key creatures and my opponent cast [[Circle of Confinement]] to banish it. I said, "that's fine, Athreos immediately returns it to the battlefield," which they were unhappy to hear. They asked me why Athreos should supercede the built in return trigger of Circle and I got stuck trying to explain that the exiled card isn't specifically connected to Circle and Athreos is just triggering when any coined card is exiled for any reason to return it right away.
Am I right?!? Here is my experience. I was “privately reproved” for having sex with my boyfriend of two years.(this all happened 10 years ago btw) No one knew we were having sex so instead of getting df’d we got “privately reproved”. But people talk and when you are at your service meeting and asked to comment or say a prayer by the fucking “Elder” that should know you can’t do either it becomes very obvious that something is up.
Being privately reproved is bull shit and I’m sure most of you know that but it’s nice vent. What was you bull shit “back room” “privately reproved “ moments? It feels good to get it out.
