124 years have passed since the modern Olympic Games were offically launched on April 6, 1896 (Old Style: March 25, 1896), with the first ever Summer Olympic Games held in Athens, Greece. On this day, the Olympic Anthem, composed by Kostis Palamas and Spyridon Samaras, who were chosen by the very first President of the IOC, Demetrius Vikelas, was played for the first time, and it would be made official by the IOC in 1958.
Today, we now begin the long countdown to the now reset Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics in July 2021 and the celebrations of 125 years since the beginning of these modern Olympics next April, hoping that in the coming year millions will be ready to celebrate the triumphs of the human spirit and the power of international sports.

Iβve spent years building Olympic Parks in Minecraft. With the Summer Olympics rolling back around in 2020, I think itβs high time for some competition. Iβd like to know interest levels below. The sports program is very diverse, and venues are very practical, and put functionality over beauty in many cases. From what I understand, USA might not be using the same players on their 5-on-5 team as they will on the 3-on-3. Even if that is so, who would you want to see play in the halfcourt, shooting and rebounding dominated game?
Hello guys, This game had really simple graphics, like it was done in MS Paint. The whole point was in dragging your character with mouse in order to complete specific discipline. I remember that it included kayaking, high jump, javelin throw, sprint, gymnastic rings, horse racing and probably some more. I used to play this game in 2016-2017, but because of the graphics I can't really tell when the game came out. You could either practise single discipline or compete in the whole olympics as selected country against other nationalities. It is possible that such game exists for mobile devices too.
