For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

Just stopping by for some insight. I'm a 33 male and I've been suffering from back pain off and on the past few years. This year in particular has been awful. I threw my back out pretty intensely back in January....most intense pain I have ever experienced. Had to work from bed for a few days, couldn't sleep, hurt to breathe, one shoulder was slumped lower than the other, etc. I did physical therapy for about 3 months, which helped, but I still cannot lift a 45 lbs weight, or run more than a mile without requiring a week of rest. I thought by this point I would have recovered.
I finally decided to get an MRI last night and got the radiologist results today. The thing that sticks out most is the disc dehydration, mainly because it spans a large range. Anyone have much experience with this able to weigh a solid opinion? Is there much hope for getting back into weight lifting or am I pretty much screwed for the rest of my life? I have a follow up with my doctor in a week to review MRI scans. I also had scans on my lumbar but those were mostly clear, other than a slight bulge on L3 and L4.
Here are the radiologist comments:
TECHNIQUE: T1, T2 and STIR sagittal sequences are obtained along with a T2-weighted axial sequence. FINDINGS: There is no evidence of thoracic compression fracture. Disk dehydration is present at numerous thoracic levels, most apparent from T1-2 through T9-T10. Several small Schmorl's nodes are present. No concerning marrow replacement is evident. T2-3: There is a small right paracentral disk protrusion at this level which effaces the ventral subarachnoid space and minimally indents the ventral cord surface to the right of midline. There is no central or foraminal stenosis. T4-5: There is minimal disk bulging to both sides of midline. The cord is not deformed. T9-10: There is disk bulging to the right of midline extending laterally. There is no cord deformity. There is no discrete signal abnormality within the cord. There is no tumor or syrinx in the cord. IMPRESSION: There is no evidence of thoracic compression fracture. There is disk dehydration from T1-2 through T9-10. Several Schmorl's nodes are present. There is a small disk protrusion to the right of midline at T2-3 which minimally deforms the ventral cord surface to the right of midline. No significant disk bulge or protrusion seen at the remaining levels. The cord is not deformed at the remaining levels. There is no discrete signal abnormality within
