I’m watching “Gods and Generals” and am a bit surprised by how well put-together Stephen Lang’s portrayal of Stonewall Jackson is. His clothes seem to be well-fitted and clean, and his demeanor seems so much less erratic than what I’ve read. Would you say this portrayal is inaccurate? What would an accurate portrayal look like? I picture a very squirrely and curt general who gives off vibes of insanity.
