Which option is better: Chemical Engineering at NIT Srinagar or CSE at RVCE/BMS?
my_qualifications: Currently in class 12th, got 95 percentile in the March attempt of JEE MAINS.
I am really confused as to what I should do. I checked the cutoff ranks of last year and found that I might get Chemical Engineering in NIT Srinagar at this percentile. People are suggesting me to drop a year or go for CSE in a private college if I am not able to increase my percentile, and telling me that if I study chemical engineering, I would end up being jobless and my life will be screwed.
Is chemical engineering really that bad?
