A list of puns related to "Spring Equinox"
I know due dates arenβt always exact, but we are expecting a tiny human to come along right around the spring equinox! I especially love nature names, and my husband really likes biblical names. But mostly we want it to be meaningful. I did search for some spring inspired names, but would love equinox-specific ones, if youβve got it.
Thanks all!
The equinox will soon be here. (Mabon (N) or Ostara (S) for many.) What plans do you have? Are you trying anything new? Use this thread to share and learn!
Hi, I'm just getting into my own little brand of paganism and decided the spring equinox was a good time to do a cleansing ritual and set up an altar.
I used last night's Pisces full moon (I'm a Pisces so it seemed appropriate) to imbue my tools and crystals etc with energy.
I had wanted to do a steam cleansing with rosemary lemon grass, orange peel and bay leaf for my home before setting it up.
Unfortunately I sprained my elbow two days ago. The space I set aside for my altar is clean and I can have someone help me with the heavy lifting. But I recently went through a major depressive episode and I was about 2/3 of the way through spring cleaning when I injured myself. I feel like my home isn't clean enough to be cleansed.
So should I cleanse the physically clean areas and set up my altar tomorrow or should I wait to recover finish spring cleaning and do it all at once?
I consulted my tarot deck with a one card read and got Judgement in reverse. I'm not an expert but I got stop procrastinating and do the thing vibes from it.
As of today/tomorrow, daylight will be winning the battle against night for the next 6 months. A great turning point in the year and a reason to be hopeful...
Happy Equinox, Lower Ducklings!
Trixie and I canβt wait to see everyone tonight out at the lavender farm for our celebratory equinox bonfire. Weβll have plenty of food, drinks, fun and games.
Bring relics of your past selves to cast into the fire, and offerings to the crone goddess Hecate, Queen of the Witches, She Who Watches Over the Crossroads. Oh, and something to sit on! The ground might still be damp from the rain, so lawn chairs are probably best.
Chief Donna from the LDPFD has graciously agreed to be on standby in the name of fire safety. Thanks again, Chief!
Gill and I are gonna head out from the Pancake Place in a bit and we have room for three more in Gillβs car, so let me know if you need a ride.
