A list of puns related to "Sodium Hypochlorite"
I want to clean a surface treated with insecticide containing Permethrin, Piperonylbutoxide and Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium Extract. Is it safe to use a Sodium Hypochlorite bleach or does it react with the mentioned substances and create more toxic compounds?
Edit: added Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium Extract
I had my house "washed" with a sodium hypochlorite solution (15% sodium hypochlorite and 1 - 5% sodium hydroxide - dilution unknown). Right after the house was sprayed there was a strong odor around most of the house. This lasted for about a week at which point I the house was thoroughly washed with water twice. The guy who did the original job insists that he only used the bleach solution on the siding and Krud Kutter on the gutters but only on the gutters. The problem I'm having now three weeks later is there is still fumes that make me sick. I am chemically sensitive. I need to know how long this will last. How long with the sodium hypochlorite solution be there?
I've read online that bleach breaks down quickly in the environment but I've also read that it persists for years.
I stumbled upon this but I doubt I'll get any more information from the original author:

This is pretty much "Ruffini Method":

I am wondering if anyone has tried this yet or have any additional information?
I asked the guy at the cleaner's, about a white garment with stains, he told me he uses things other than Clorox..
Google and DDG are useless...
The dentist has provided me with buccal paste and she knew the moment the drops of hypochlorite reacted with with cheecks and cleaned them then suctioned them ? Any post care thoughts I am having serious anxiety after looking on images on internet
Apologies if this doesn't belong here but I had made unbelievably stupid and kids movie worthy dramatic accident of soaking my fire fan wicks which are made of kevlar into chlorine based sterilising solution mistaking it for a carton of parafin.
I need to use these fans for a performance soon and I'm concerned about the chemical reaction between the sterilising solution and the parafin on the wicks when I light them on fire. I have no clue about mixing chemicals like this but something tells me it's not a good idea and google isn't clear.
Info on the sterilising solution carton: Name: Chloras Contains stabilised sodium hypochlorite 10- 11% w/w (100g/kg min.) Active chlorine solution. Contact with acids liberates a toxic gas.
If this is a terrible idea, how can I fix my wicks or do I just need to get new ones?
Any help at all appreciated, even a point in the right direction.
In chapter 2 in first quest you need to go to morgue, find ingredients and make this remedy but I accidentally made wrong thing and now I don't have sodium hypochlorite anymore and i cant find it?
Is there anyway to get it again?
Sorry for bad translations of the names of ingredients
[UPDATE: Iβm fine now!!!] Iβm only a teenager. I am reckless. I admit it. I donβt know what to do. I donβt want to involve any authorities and the internetβs not helping me. I was trying to clean something and I didnβt read the instructions right. I sprayed these two on MY BED SHEETS. Why? I donβt know. My parents are home and my brotherβs home. All I did was open the windows, turn my fan on, and pour cold tap water on it. I have no idea what else to do.
I had a root canal on my upper left 1st premolar. When rinsing the canal with the antiseptic solution it caused immense pain/burning upwards toward my eye along the nose. The dentist rinsed the solution out and the pain subsided after another injection of novocaine. Today I am swollen and beginning to bruise around my eye and upper cheek. No pain but pressure on eye from swelling and general numbness of the area. The dentist did not recommend antibiotics and said that all will subside in a few days. Should I be concerned about secondary infection, the research I am finding on pub med seems to recommend antibiotics and follow up with ENT. Should I push for this or perhaps look to my PCM for a referral since the dentist doesnβt seem concerned? Iβm female 37, non smoker, non drinker with autoimmune conditions (non of which are supposed to cause risk for dental work). The root canal was finished and a temporary placed. To my knowledge there was not profuse bleeding or other complications after the solution was rinsed.
Hello everyone.
Does anyone here have any idea of differences in efficiency between bleach from the store and sodium hypochlorite from a chemical manufacturer when it comes to surface sterilization of plant material?
We use very little of it in our lab and was hoping to avoid buying the high concentration and expensive chemical, and just switch to the cheap store bought one instead.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
Hello, my wife and I are in the process of starting a pressure washing business. She is concerned about the long term exposure health risks of these cleaning chemicals. Specifically sodium hypochlorite as I am already predisposed to lung issues. Would wearing a respirator be enough to reduce or eliminate risk? It doesn't seem like there are any natural alternatives either that would be as efficient at cleaning.
Does anyone also have any personal stories about long term exposure to these chemicals? Such as any skin or lung issues that have developed? I think it would be good to know these things before committing 100% to the business.
Hey there. I am a level 1 operator in a class 4 system. We use hypo to treat the water here. While cleaning injectors at an out station, I've noticed a black build up on the line. I have seen hypo dry out and turn white, but not black. We use Teflon piping which is clear for injecto lines. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
What are the products when Calcium hypochlorite reacts with sodium carbonate?
A newly-released study (2/6/20) indicates that 62-71% ethanol, 0.5% hydrogen peroxide, or 0.1% sodium hypochlorite are effective at inactivating human coronaviruses on inanimate surfaces.

Edit: Fixed broken link. Changed βandβ to βorβ to clarify that each of these individually were shown to be effective, i. e., donβt mix them all together. Added βNoticeβ

I know you can buy it from an indian doctor but I dont know how to find him.
i accidentally made the wrong thing with the amount you get from the quest. any help on exact locations i can find this doctor in is greatly appreciated! (his name would help too)
