A list of puns related to "Slope Intercept Form"
Write a linear equation in slope intercept form for each problem.
2.Line passes through the point (-2,9) and has a slope of: -5/2
3.Line passes through the point (3,5) and has a slope of: 2
4.Line passes through the point (4,1) and has a slope of: 0
5.Line passes through the point (-5,-8) and has a slope of: 4/5
6.Line passes through the point (12.10) and has a slope of: 7/6
what is the difference between linear combination ,to be exact affine combination , and slope- intercept form of line ,especially in terms of coefficents ,I mean in slope-intercept form of line the coefficient slope is the rate of change of the line but in linear combination it isn't the case, is it ? And they have similar expression ,so what's the difference between them ,especially in term of coefficients?
I feel so dumb asking this because I think itβs already turned into one but just to make sure.
I know that when its parallel the slope stays the same and when its perpendicular the slope reverses but I don't how to get the y-intercept.
I was supposed to have learned this in grade 9 math last year but the pandemic hit and I really was confused with class so I didnt learn it and now this year in grade 10 math we started with this and everyone seemed to know exept me and I feel really bad can anyone helpπ π π π π π
Hi everyone,
I'm an adult learning maths so that I can study physics. I've worked my way up to slope y-intercept form and I'm having trouble with abstract mathematical thinking. I have a bad habit of needing to concretely understand concepts before I move on.
So, y=mx+b.
Could we flip it and say something like
X=my+b?
Does this even make sense?
Sorry for stupid question and thank-you for intelligent answers.
melodies for math dropped a NEW song yesterday on converting standard form to slope intercept form and it's a BOP! Hopefully this can help algebra students and teachers :)) Even if you are not taking algebra, please click the link below to vibe to this song :)) Link is here: https://youtu.be/xWdTE83WZQ4
It sounds easy enough, but I was doing some problems and I just don't understand it. I just need someone to explain how to do it.
Example: Convert y = 1/2x + 4 to standard form.
The question is 8x - 4y = 16. How do I write this in slope-intercept form?
hi i just get these a little confused by these it would be great if someone would help me
