2035 Treaty of the Baltic and the Skagerrak

Dignitaries and Members hereby agree to the following:

Representing the two countries bound by Baltic Interests and a desire towards a better, freer tomorrow, this Treaty on the Baltic and Skagerrak talks Remembers and Determines the various processes that were agreed to between the Kongeriket and the Hanseatic Fedration


Article 1: Principles

In order to ensure that Peace and Prosperity between Kongeriket and The Hanseatic Federation, a series of agreements will be established and applied in order to allow for trade and cooperation between the two nations.

Article 2: Free and Open Docking

Part 1: In order to allow these nations to have free trade and cooperate in matters related to the Baltic Sea, a policy of free docking will be applied to the two nations. While both nations may reserve the right to charge for docking each other’s ships, there must not be any undue difference between the charges imposed on domestic activity and the other signatory of the treaty. Additionally, Military ships may be docked at each other’s major or relevant ports.

Part 2: The Major or Relevant Ports referred to in Part 1 are hereby defined as Oslo, Bergen, Fredrikstad and Vestfold in Norway and Kaliningrad, Danzig, Riga and Visby in the Federation.

**Article 3: Trading Houses and Embassies ** The Hanseatic Federation agrees to allow the acquisition as embassies and trading houses of Konigsberger Borse in Kaliningrad and Wisloujscie Fortress in Danzig. In return the Hanseatic Federation will acquire the Bergen Bryggen and Horten Verft in Vestfold.

Article 4: A General Reaffirmation Kongeriket and the Hanseatic Federation both commit to reaffirm close trading ties in order to allow for the mutual growth of each other’s nations. They also agree to cooperate if any crisis occurs on the Baltic like that of the Swedish Flu and will cooperate to ensure minimal damage in the event of such a crisis. They agree to lower trading barriers as well as allow each other investments.
