A list of puns related to "Silas"
> Stephen Silas on Kevin Porter Jr.: > > "We still love him, we'll still grow with him. Everything will be okay. This shouldn't be blown out of proportion. It should be a bump in the road." >
> [Wojnarowski] Reporting with > @ESPN_MacMahon: The Houston Rockets are suspending Kevin Porter Jr., and Christian Wood for tonightβs game against the Philadelphia 76ers, disciplining both for poor behavior surrounding Saturdayβs loss to Denver.

Stephen Silas just headed back to the Rockets locker room with a couple of escorts, he pointed at John Lucas saying "you're the coach."
Possible he had a positive or inconclusive test? Interesting thing to happen mid-game.
> Houston Rockets point guard Kevin Porter Jr. lost his temper during a heated halftime discussion and didn't return to the court, leaving the Toyota Center during the second half of Saturday's 124-111 loss to the Denver Nuggets, sources told ESPN.
> Porter became upset after assistant coach John Lucas challenged him, revisiting an issue that led to Porter losing his composure on the bench during the first half, sources said.
> The Rockets, who trailed 77-55 at halftime of their seventh consecutive loss, did not return to the court until moments before the third quarter began.
> "We had a spirited debate," Rockets head coach Stephen Silas said during his postgame media availability. "I have certain demands of this team as far as playing hard. ... I wasn't satisfied with the effort."
> The Rockets announced during the second half that Porter was questionable to return due to his left thigh being evaluated. Porter has been bothered for weeks by a left thigh contusion, causing him to miss several games, but that was not the issue that led to his absence after halftime, according to sources.
> Silas did not mention Porter specifically during his postgame comments.
> Center/power forward Christian Wood, the Rockets' leading scorer this season, did not start Saturday night due to breaking a team rule, Silas said. Wood played eight scoreless minutes in the first half, during which Houston was outscored by 17 points, and did not play in the second half.
> "Coach's decision," Silas said of Wood sitting out the second half.
Nalaman ko kanina na mg friend tells his gf pag natae siya. Parang ganito: GF: babe anong ginagawa mo? Friend: Natae. Teka hugas lang me. Normal ba to???? Thanks.
Iβm debating between that and Oliver, but the popularity of Oliver bothers me. I also love Judah and Henry but I canβt use those. Big brotherβs name is Samuel.
What a hilarious coincidence. The Rockets (1-13) are on pace to have the worst record in league history. The last team to do it was the 2011/2012 Charlotte Bobcats team whose head coach was Paul Silas, the current Rockets head coach Stephen Silas's dad
What's even funnier is that Stephen Silas himself was one of the top assistant coaches for that horrid Bobcats team too
The Silas family can't catch a break

> He was unaware of the accompanying fan criticism of the starting lineup, and particularly of fervent calls for rookie Alperen Sengun to start or at least receive much more playing time than the 18.8 minutes per game he averages, the source of the harshest criticism of Silas. > > βI totally get it, but I didnβt know that thatβs a big deal at all,β Silas said. βI mean, Iβm trying to try to help him. Throwing him out there for 30-something minutes every night, itβs really hard. So, there are nights where heβll stay on the floor longer. There are nights where the matchup or his foul trouble or whatever will dictate the minutes that he gets. But it has nothing to do with how I feel about him because I love him. > > βI love when heβs on the floor. And heβs going to be really good. And he has earned more and more touches and activity when heβs on the floor. I mean, he basically touches it 70 percent of the time when heβs on the floor.β > > Silas has even rewritten much of the Rocketsβ offense to feature Sengun in post-ups, rather than to exclusively play the five-out style he favored last season and coming into this season. That, too, speaks to how so much this season must be about building for the seasons to come.
Looking to scratch a specific itch: I love when we have a semi-side character that is a wry, sometimes silver tongued, demon who has a friendship with our main character(s). Not looking for 'MC falls in love with demon' trope though please - that seems to get done to death in YALit and those relationships just fall flat imo.
As the title to the post lists, I'm thinking of relationships like Moggot/Sabriel, Calcifer/Howl, and Silas/Nathaniel&Elisabeth. These are all YA books and although I'm always ready to jump into YA, it'd be great to have a New Adult or Adult book that has this dynamic - obviously I just haven't found it yet so please help.
These types of books just feel cozy to read and that's the vibe I'm looking for this winter szn:) Thanks for your help!
