After reading about it here, I went and checked it out....why are they all acting like this is THE BIGGEST achievement ever? I love a happy bride, but this βMeri shaadi hai eeeehaaawβ after 5 videos isnβt making sense. Was their love difficult/long distance/opposed or something?
Edit : Just realised the wedding was on 25th Dec, and the posts still havenβt stopped on 15th Jan...so that sums up this threadβs sentiment.
After reading a few posts on this sub about her wedding, I went through the Instagram hashtag for her wedding and omg the number of dances they had ?? They had these extensively choreographed dances for literally each event, big or small (also what is a pre sangeet event lol ?) Iβm in no way hating on her and Iβm very happy sheβs getting her dream wedding but it looks exhausting lol considering the number of pre pre pre wedding events they had which have been going on for almost a year.
- there isn't any extra- ordinary videography
- even the songs they choose don't give a warm heart warming vibe.
- not so impressive outfits.
- 10 thousand functions to a point where in people are just tired of watching.
- no footage for shyam and his family, no talking about their love story or anything.
- overall underwhelming.
- lacks authenticity- I don't see anyone happy, just tired or zoned out.
- while it should be about their love, she is making it about herself, duh.
She was assuming she would go viral with the wedding, nothing of that sort has happened, she got some clout because of the proposal, people were keen but eventually the hype decreased and interest faded away.
i don't follow either of them but after watching tanmay bhatt review pranks, i fell into that rabbit hole so im guessing that's how this was in my suggestions.
so abhishek pranked shivani by pretending to be in contact with her ex. and i was a bit disturbed by watching the video because of how VIOLENT shivani got. she threw his phone, hit him with the box, almost threw him on the other side of the bed when he was trying to console her. and i get it, 13 yo me would have idealised such a possessive relationship but my grown up self is kind of disturbed. you do get overworked when you catch your boyfriend being in contact w his ex and lying about it but the whole sequence of her reacting lowkey violently was a bit uncomfortable to watch. out of curiosity to see if their personality as a couple is like this only, i watched whatever latest q/a they had on their channel and they seemed to be such a secure couple lol, and the video either seemed overdone or very untrue to what they keep saying about each other
