In watching S16 E4 of RHOC, Shannon starts to complain about her finances. Poor baby got a divorce settlement and alimony from her ex-husband that doesn't cover all her bills. I feel so sorry for her that she has to pay for her daughters' college.
Welcome to the real world. It's called get a job and live within your means like the rest of us. She makes a reported $800k a year from the housewives. How is this not enough, even in Southern California?
I know a lot of people rag on Shannon but I’ve always had a soft spot for her. She was literally doing her job by sharing the lawsuit tid bit about Nicole. Salacious gossip that’s true that isn’t also uncomfortably problematic is what viewers want, isn’t it?
If Gina was so concerned she would have encouraged Shannon, her actual friend, to tell Heather, someone she doesn’t even know.
Nicole was the sneaky B who acted all buddy buddy with Heather while hiding this secret.
Emily stirred the pot which I like in a housewife, but she and Gina were the ones who made it into a “thing” and stormed out of there like Cinderella’s stepsisters.
Shannon didn’t deserve this level of blame and attack.

Shannon had the most difficult parameters out of all the other women. Bones choose to challenge her on eccentricity of the dress instead of the silhouette while creating a fun experience for Shannon. The dress was original and no one would’ve ever guessed the dress was design with insecurities in mind.
One of the best "serious" performances in a silly comedy that I've seen in recent years. It's obvious he had a lot of fun with the part.
I rewarched the film last night and thoroughly enjoyed it - a well paced, heartwarming cheesy-fun kind of flick. Anthony Mackie and Seth Rogen play to their type, and Nathan Fielder steals the show in the few scenes he has.

Her lawyer dropped the ball in a major way on that one, holy shit. If I were her I’d fire that lawyer and hire someone new to file a motion or do what has to be done to ensure David picks up some of the bill for the girls post secondary education. I might even go so far as to say the new lawyer should also go after his portion of Sophie’s fees retroactively.
I’m in Canada so maybe things are different here. However, it seems really unbelievable to me that any family lawyer working on a divorce agreement with teenage/college age children involved wouldn’t include a section in the agreement dedicated to the cost split of the kids college fees.
Shannon says something about not everything in the divorce was covered. That’s what you hired the lawyer to do though! It’s the lawyers job to make sure things like splitting the cost of education for the children evenly based on income is negotiated!
I’m so shocked! I’m not a Shannon fan but damn, I feel bad for her here.
Rewatching season 9 is so telling of who Heather and Terry are as people. Honestly, I knew everything I needed to know about Heather when Terry said she sends her food back at restaurants 90% of the time and views menus as a list of ingredients, but alas, she got worse. At the hoe down party, Heather gets on the bull and David says “spread your legs!” (barf) but Eddie also says “show us how you ride Terry!” Terry laughs and Heather says nothing. In the next episode, Heather loses her shit with Shannon over David’s comments. Also, Heather telling the bull operator to turn it all the way up and then saying he should be fired after Tamra falls off. She’s such an asshole lol.
I think Terry will do just about anything for more screen time, but Heather is so manipulative and calculated. Shannon is not my cup of tea but it’s obvious that Heather has never liked her. I think Heather sees a lot of her own qualities that she doesn’t like in Shannon, she will do absolutely anything to embarrass and gaslight her to have the upper hand. I would enjoy their feud more if Heather wasn’t so dark. She doesn’t just fuck with Shannon because she likes to push her buttons, she takes it to another level (i.e. saying Shannon is having a psychotic break and “should we call an ambulance”).
I try so hard to enjoy Heather as a housewife because she gets the other women so riled up, is pretentious and rich as hell but I just find myself saying “oh shut up, Heather” in all of her scenes. She is the embodiment of my nightmare of a person.

Ok, I just caught up with this season last night and I have to say, what the hell is Heather smoking? How in the world is she more upset at Shannon than she is at Nicole?!?! Seriously, Nicole has been her friend for 6 years and never thought to have a conversation about the fact she tried to sue her husband?!?
Also, I do like Gina, but damn, she looked so pathetic telling Heather what Shannon had told her off camera. It was like she was trying so hard to "kiss Heather's ring." It screamed of desperation of trying to get in good with Heather. And Gina succeeded. Now Heather knows Gina is her little lap dog and she's going to use her. Just like LVP used Brandi. It's not a real friendship but Gina will eat it up in hopes of being part of Heather's inner circle.
A few people ruined that "non dinner" dinner party, and Shannon (surprisingly) wasn't one of them. Gina instigated the whole thing. Heather over reacted because the cameras were rolling. Then Emily and Nicole got in the most random fight. All because Emily was begin nosy and wanted to get more information that had nothing to do with her. Emily, "I have been your friend this whole time." Nicole, "I met you 20 minutes ago!!" HAHAHAHA
But the worst part of all of this, was Heather's over the top "promise" to Shannon that was so rehearsed. I seriously can picture Heather in front of the mirror giving out her threat thinking, "Yup, this is going to be good."
I do have this really important question though, does Heather have amnesia? About 6-7 years ago, Heather went on a lunch date, with a bunch of women that Shannon did not know, and spilled the beans that David was having an affair. That was malicious, gossipy, and definitely mean spirited. Yet, Shannon questioning how Heather is friends with someone who sued her husband for malpractice, is "coming for my family." What the actual F Bomb?!?!
I'm never really been a big fan of Shannon. She can be really annoying and honestly, incredibly selfish. But, I honestly never thought Shannon was a "Mean girl." She's just sad and very insecure. With that being said, I've always found myself siding with Shannon when it comes to her and Heather's conflicts. The way Heather gas-light her and over exaggerated Shannon's actions when she first appeared on the series was just wrong. And I don't think Heather really ever owned up to it, even in the reunion when it shows how wrong she was about Shannon.

I'm watching OC for Shannon at this stage. I just really like her, I feel like she is the realest and most down to earth and we've seen her go through so much over the seasons. I know she has her messy side but I find her to be authentic, warts and all. Her love for her kids is unquestionable and I love how she is with her dad and mom and of course John too.
Heather and Gina are just mean girls. Emily, I'm undecided on and Noella, Nicole and Jen just aren't really registering although given that they are new to the show we'll see.
Naturally with Shannon comes Archie, my absolute favourite! That ball and pool scene was so funny - he's getting along in years like the rest of us!
What good did Gina think could possibly come from telling Heather about the lawsuit, at her own party, no less? “Oh thank you so much for telling me. I feel so much better having that information. Let’s be best friends now.” People want to say that Shannon stirred it up and spread it around but that is literally what friends do with each other. If I find something out about someone, of course I would tell my girlfriends. I could ALSO request that they not pass that information on to someone it could hurt, and expect that they would keep the information to themselves.
I normally am pro team Gina and Emily. I like them individually and as friends, but they really effed this one up. I don’t know if Emily was super drunk at the party (I’m only partway through the episode) but she acted like a total ass. She is way above saying something like she’s going to mess someone up. Trashy.
My friends think I’m lame bc I’m the only one who watches dating reality shows but they were sooo cute ! They were with another coupe chatting and getting drinks. They are so small in person! I didn’t wanna be a weirdo and ask for pics bc that’s not my style but they were so polite to everyone and super in love ! I love their chemistry ! It’s very real off screen. They def seem like who they say they are lol. Kudos to them!
