Our favorite shoujo series is back! I know i shouldn't say anything without context, but damnit! What is this again?? For now disappointed and not even suprised...
There's a concept that is very important to gunplay within Destiny 2 that I have not seen discussed almost at all within the community. This post aims to garner some attention to this concept, which hopefully will help guardians out there get a better idea on how to use weapons under specific circumstances, and which weapons and which rolls ultimately to chase.
This concept is the idea of "Bodyshot to Headshot Aim Assist." Credit to this post for being the first I've seen discuss this concept in depth, as it relates to SMGs on Controller. What I aim to do today is to expand on this discussion more as it relates to Mouse and Keyboard and other weapon types, as well as provide some opinions on some more practical applications.
Brief Summary: in the community, we have typically discussed "aim assist" as one general term. However, there are actually two very different ways in which aim assist function that will completely change the feel of your weapon. This is also exactly responsible for people complaining about DMT feeling inconsistent or weird to shoot on PC.
The three "levels" of Aim Assist are as follows:
To exemplify why the distinction between levels 1 and 2 is so important (before the "just aim slightly above the head at all times then 4head" comments roll in), I bring your attention to the DMT. Many people within the community on PC has difficulty using DMT, citing the hipfire mode feels inconsistent and takes a while to get used to. Even once a user has gotten used to how DMT fires, you'll still hear high profile players exclaim "wtf how did that shot not hit" on a fairly regular basis. DMT, of course, is still one of, if not the, best primary in the game, but that's in spite of it's sometimes janky feeling hitboxes, because the gun is busted o

But xur hunters have pinned him down and heβs offering a seraph sidearm with demo and vorpal. Iβve been really wanting a good roll of this gun for ages but Iβm not entirely sold on the value of vorpal on a sidearm despite people saying this is the godroll. Is it really that good?
So it's become evident that the legendary weapon loot pool changes each week in Dares of Eternity. I made a post one week when I noticed that Dire Promise and True Prophecy was dropping from Dares.
This week, it looks like the Seventh Seraph weapons are dropping from the activity - the most relevant for us PVP players being the CQC Shotgun.
If you want a 3.5/5 roll of the CQC shotgun, you can get one from Banshee right now. But if you really want to grind it out, you can take your chances in Dares - which is probably one of the only semi-practical ways to get random rolls of the CQC shotgun these days.
Good luck out there!

I've been playing Xerath mid for a little over two years now, and almost every game, i would buy luden's + seraph's as my two main items. These two items usually amount to 218 AP once finished.
But with preseason, the changes to seraphs has completely decimated the item, only giving 80 AP + around 20 ability haste when stacked fully. Now, Luden's + Seraph's only gives 160 AP + 20AH, a massive 58AP deficit. The extra 250HP i can barely notice since as an artillery mage, im not meant to be in a position where i should be taking damage to begin with, and even when the enemy Zed or Hecarim gets on top of me, the 250 hp barely matters since they overkill me 2 times over anyways. I can barely notice the healing part since it is capped at 10% of my ap, which is a measly 16ap + (25-50 per lvl) ( this is still based off having only Ludens and Seraphs, and no runes to modify AP numbers)
In comparison, an AP bruiser like Mordekaiser can build Rift Maker and Demonic Embrace and hit 155AP ( 80 from RM, 60 from DE, 15 from DE passive). This is without having to spend the 1st 15-20 minutes stacking Tear.
Why did they even change Seraphs to begin with? the item never needed or even warranted a change, everyone is saying its for kassadin and ryze, but why should these two champs get a buff while having that buff nerf every other mage in the game?
I know it is preseason, and some item changes will be changed before next season officially drops, but i really wish that they would revert the changes to Seraph's, because if they dont, i really dont see a reason for mages such as Xerath. Vel' Koz, Syndra etc. to build it anymore.
Would like more voices on this, should it be agreeing with my viewpoint or against.
Mine is Diligent. His main ability to consume your 1st spell makes thinning out your deck become a scary thing and it is annoying af. On top of that, he also has to add a ton of garbage into your deck, 3 from himself and those stick around till the end of the battle, and even more added garbage from his troops. And that's not the end of everything, he blocks damage both from units and spells by having so many stacks of stealth and spell shields. You can soften the relentless phase of flying bosses by damaging them in their flying phase, but that's usually not the case of Diligent.
Nightwatch: Hammerforged/appended/rapid hit/explosive payload
Seventh Seraph CQC: barrel shroud/assault mag/QuickDraw/snapshot sights
I know people talk about the guaranteed overflow/explosive payload from New Light quest, but I MUCH prefer my rapid hit roll. My fave legendary scout.
Recently, I made smurf account and decided to go for Star Seraph. After I finally collected all necessary cards. I tried to make it work with Rebirth of Parshath. After testing it out, I didn't really liked it (Mostly because it was bricking a lot). Now, I want to try Star Seraph engine with another deck. I was thinking of Dark Magician, Ritual beast (Probably only winda), Mayonseju and Performapal. But I'm not sure if any of these are worth making.
What deck would you build in this situation? It doesn't have to be any of the named above.
Hey everyone, it's your regularly tri-weekly reminder that if you'd like to farm for a Seventh Seraph CQC shotgun, it's now dropping from the Dares Activity and any Paracausal Boxes that you open from the Starhorse.
That means you can farm for the shotgun by doing Dares and opening the chest at the end, and also by using Strange Coins to buy Boxes that can also drop the weekly loot.
Good luck out there everyone!
Just got Full choke, accurized, QD, snapshot with a Reload MW
Is this the g roll? Not so sure about the masterwork but at least reload shouldnt be useless right?
"Nooo you're doing it too slow and the season will be over before you complete it"
Now they've gone the complete opposite way, and said "Nooo you're doing it too fast, so we're gonna slow it down and kill all excitement for the event"
Going into Year EIGHT of Destiny, and Bungie STILL cant get grinding right! What goes through their minds man?
What type of weapons are seraph blades? I got the impression from the books (specifically CoA) that different angel names gave different types of blades. The wiki however makes them seem like they are all the same. Does anyone know?
I LOVE the character and want to know everything. Tell me everything that there is to know about the character please.
I like new seraphs. I think that nerfing ryze q scaling, e cooldown and phaserush was a good nerf. I was expecting him to get some kind of buff when 11.23 rolled by. And there it was. The new seraph. Lose 300 ap and 1k mana in lategame, gain 5%cdr and abysmal healing of abilites. Seriously fcking help me im coping.
Barrel shroud, assault mag, QuickDraw/snapshot, handling masterwork. All it's missing is full choke for max OHKO.
