Making a window always (semitransparently) visible but on the background, possible?
Case in point: I have to monitor a custom chat system on a browser tab for a change (it does not provide audio notification, none of the "notify page change" firefox add-in works well). But I don't want to just stare at this browser window all day and prefer to do something else on other browser tabs or windows.
Is it possible to make this chat window always visible e.g. with 50% or 25% opacity but in the background, so my keyboard/mouse input goes to the other window?
Yes, this is a case for a multiple monitor setup or just arrange the windows in tile configuration, but I'm just wondering if something like this is possible.

Apparently not all white PETG is created equal. Left is Amazon Basics white, right is Sunlu white (printed at same thickness). Sunlu might make good lithographs but not great for opaque thin layers.

So I stained my cedar fence yesterday with a semitransparent, natural tone cedar stain and as you can see from the picture it is completely orange. This is bad. Does anyone know of any way to fix this? Please help!
What is this wall unit in our hotel room? Black faceplate, shining a flashlight reveals it is semitransparent with a red tint, I can notice 3 or 5 small square ‘chip’ looking units. First thought is a smoke or motion sensor, however it has no holes for smoke, I don’t think it’s a camera either..
