Alex Kidd is one of those and is accessible from the start of the game
I swapped out - Alex Kidd in Miracle World (J)
for
Alex Kidd in High Tech World (UE)
and it works. Now there are two different Alex Kidd games availible!!!

I need an AV cable for my Sega Master system. Will an sega Genesis AV cable work?
I've been thinking about something regarding a hypothetical Master System Mini that would be a mini replica of the actual console, like the Genesis Mini or SNES Classic.
This has likely been asked before, but if Sega were to make something like that, what games would you want on a Master System Mini?
Ok sorry this is going to be very vague because I don't remember much about it but it's driving me crazy. Please help me, you're my only hope.
Platform(s): Sega (either Master System II or Mega Drive/Genesis)
Genre: 2d side scrolling Platformer, shooting,
Estimated year of release: 1995???
Graphics/art style: A lot of Dark/black backgrounds, caves, factories and such.
Notable characters: Playable character was a typical army dudeguy
Notable gameplay mechanics: playable character had a roll technique kinda like Sonic or Samus that looked like a circular saw. This could be used to kill enemies and also enter gaps that were too small to get through otherwise. There were various guns with different shooting patterns.
Other details: More speculative - I think this might have been a movie tie-in game maybe?
