A list of puns related to "Atari 7800"
Platform(s): C64, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, NES or Atari Xe
Genre: Dungeon Crawler (top down)
Estimated year of release: 1980's-1994
Graphics/art style: 2D
Notable characters: Wizard, Warrior, Adventure characters
Notable gameplay mechanics: The game played just like Gauntlet, Dark Chambers, Fire King, Demon Stalkers, Druid and Warlock. You had to break certain block-objects with something I think was a wand, find keys to open doors, find potions and other items. I think the game had a wider variety of items than the games mentioned. I can't recall what the enemies was, but I think it was skeletons. The game was top down just like the mentioned games, but the block breaking was similar to "Fire and Ice" for NES graphically. I believe me and my brother also played it co-op. They year was 1994 and we played it at a neighbor's house, both of us remember it perfectly, but we can't find it anywhere
Other details: We have been looking for the game actually since 1994 after we moved, and as grownups we've continued the search with no luck. I've talked to collectors and retro-game sites with no luck. The closest game so far have been "Dark Chambers". But this game doesn't have the block breaking mechanics and other stuff that are missing, I am starting to think it was a obscure ROM-hack version of Dark Chambers or something. The game must have been made before 1994, because that's the year we played it. The game had pruple'ish walls / blocks, light blue(ice blocks?) and light grey.
On the image I created of the game the heroes look very weird and that's not how I remembered them to look, I just remember that they was very stereotypical hero-characters like a Wizard and a Warrior ish style and that can be wrong too of course. It's hard because it's so long ago, but I remember a lot of stuff from the same period and I know this game is real. I only created a image to give a very close idea on what sort of game this is.
I came across this one but seems to cover everything but I've not heard of them before. Is this the best one together in 2021?

Here it is. I just get a black screen when I load it. Roms of older games work.

Atari XGS/XE guns are really hard to find but Sega Master System Phasers are plenty available and have proven to work just fine on the 7800 core with SNAC support.
Can someone verify that:
Thanks!
Hi everyone! Recently I just picked up an Atari 7800 Prosystem and Iβm trying to connect it with my modern tv and it wonβt work. I canβt exactly tell what the main issue is but I feel it has something to do with the type of tv or connection. The type of tv I have is a Lg model I picked up a few months ago which has a coaxial input. I bought a coaxial adapter and a cable to connect to the tv but got no connection even with the console on. Iβve also tried using an old set up top box to try and connect but Itβs not working either (It may be broken not sure). Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong or any other suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated.
It seems this adapter covers just about every system I want to use but haven't heard of them before.

Claims to support:
Recently found an Atari 7800 that seems to have never been used and I'm trying to find out how they were originally sold. I wasnβt alive back then to know first hand but hoping someone else might know. Thanks!
