A list of puns related to "Scroll.in"

Recently made a comment on another TES6 post in the elder scrolls sub Reddit that suggested they try out ESO while they wait and immediately got hounded about how everyone hates the game for micro transactions or for the pure fact that there are other people in the game.
Look, I know the the game isnβt perfect, but itβs an mmo, that comes with certain mechanics and restrictions. I hate mmos but ESO has been the only one so far that I can come back to because I love TES and because the combat is actually fun and not trying to manage 20 skills across 5 skill bars like every other traditional mmo.
It makes me sad to see such a fun game, in my opinion, get so much hate since it strayed from the traditional TES formula. And itβs ironic because Iβve found like 4 out of 5 times, those that voice the most hate have never played the game for more than a couple hours. How can you expect to experience a game, especially a TES game in less than at least 50 hours?
Edit: Oh boy. Am I the only one who enjoys both the traditional games and ESO? I never realized just how polarized the player bases wereβ¦
Edit 2: Wow, thanks for the responses guys. Didnβt expect to get some many. Just for clarification, yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I understand and respect that. Everyone out there doesnβt have to like ESO and thatβs ok, but I would just encourage those people to research some of the late game content and see if thereβs anything they might be interested in before getting to Bal Foyen and calling it a day.
My lava eel: You know what would reeeaally make us feel at home?
Fr though, this game has a way of punishing you for throwing away useless crap, and I kind of respect that. The issue is now I'm too anxious to throw anything away and my chests are starting to overflow
For example, for posts in subs that don't have a lot of members, or is really specific to a certain activity, topic, or hobby.

TL;DR: LinearMouse (GitHub)
I switched from Windows and immediately needed to change whatever was going on with the mouse. There's a few differences I noticed:
Inherent latency. I A/B tested this with a very fast gaming monitor using the same mouse, same distance away, same USB dongle and it there was less latency on Windows. Unfortunately I think this is just built into the OS and currently there isn't a fix so sorry for getting your hopes up but still wanted to mention it.
Mouse acceleration. The tweak of running defaults write -g com.apple.mouse.scaling -integer -1
in terminal and logging back out and in didn't seem to remove it. Although didn't hurt.
Scroll wheel acceleration. Once again the tweak defaults write -g com.apple.scrollwheel.scaling -integer -1
didn't remove it but didn't hurt. Ratchet scrolling also felt very weird, sometimes it didn't register the first "click" of the scroll wheel and sometimes would continue on after the last click.
The best app I found to remove mouse acceleration was SteelSeries ExactMouse. But it hasn't been updated in years so the icon didn't support dark mode, wasn't able to be hidden, and even if you opened up the app files and made a dark mode icon it still looked ugly since it didn't support high dpi displays.
The best app I found to remove scroll wheel acceleration was Mos. It still is, it has a few more controls over LinearMouse and feels very slightly better probably due to the fact that it can do ratchet scrolling but with a slight smoothness to it. It also is free and can be hidden so it's worth considering still.
All that to say that after almost a year of trying a number of apps in different combinations I finally found by far the best one: LinearMouse (GitHub). It's one app that can:
Jyggalag, Daedric Prince of Order was one of the main antagonists of the story? Wouldnβt that be just mad? Cheesy, even?
I have always wondered what became of old Jyggy after the conclusion of my favorite DLC of all time, so the thought crossed my mind today in one of those magical moments of inspiration we often have in the shower.
