I know there's a bus that runs from the airport in SS to SA. Is that the best option or should I go with something else?
When I was in guate I rode chicken buses the whole time and was fine but a buncha Guatemalans were like "wow you got really lucky a lotta people get robbed on those" so I just wanna make sure I'm not rolling dice again if possible
I need to stay in San Salvador at least a month in late Feb-March. What are some places with a good internet connection to stay at? Could be a hotel or bnb. Itβs a plus if it has breakfast or laundry on site.
Has any mayor,president or the general public mention the idea of building a mass rapid system to alleviate the traffic congestion in San Salvador?
I know El Salvador used to have trains operating until the 80s, but as small as the country is and with the mostly mountainous terrain, shouldn't major cities like San Salvador consider adopting a mass transit system like a underground subway or a light rail system?I It's not exclusively feasible to developed economies. Santo Domingo now has a metro system and the Dominican Republic is not an OECD-country or developed economy.

Edit: Thank you all for the thoughtful opinions. Forgot to mention, I am Salvadoran-American, so I hope no one took this question the wrong way lol. I do wish urban planning can be taken serious in the country in order to make the cities more appealing and beneficial for the locals and visitors.

Estoy en bΓΊsqueda de una casa en una zona tranquila y segura pero quiero saber que zonas son las mΓ‘s recomendables y las que debo evitar por alto peligro se que toda zona tiene sus pros y sus contra por eso pido su opiniΓ³n.
En el caso de la casa, valoro mΓ‘s el espacio de patio que la cantidad de habitaciones, con dos habitaciones es mΓ‘s que suficiente para mi y mi perro.
