Last I heard, Silver & Black was being converted into a show, but then I read that Felicia is getting her own movie (mind you, that part came from That Hashtag Show, who also claimed that the Chameleon would be the villain - that can’t be true, since we know he’s the villain in Kraven).
Personally, although I don’t mind what Sony is doing with Venom, I would have preferred Sablinova being in the MCU. Most adaptations of the character have depicted her as a Deathstroke wannabe, but being in a world with Wakanda and especially Latveria would have incentivised the writers to explore Symkaria’s international relations, a major part of the character. Sure, they could still adapt Katerina Karkov’s ascension to power, but a lot of the intrigue surrounding that is lost when we can’t see its global ramifications. Sure, I can still see them doing a good job adapting her stories with Dominic Fortune and the Foreigner, but still.
Anyway, what’s the deal there? Mind you, I’m sure we’ll learn more about Silver & Black once Venom 2 and Morbius are out. Didn’t it enter development hell after Feige removed Osborn from the script?
It has been confirmed as part of today's Summer Game Fest 2021 'Kickoff Live' event that Sable will be releasing on Xbox and Xbox Game Pass on September 23rd.
