A list of puns related to "S'express"
The thing is, most of y’all on this sub are NOT doing this. Stop acting like the mods are ridiculous for removing content where people are spreading misinformation and anti-science propaganda.
No matter how much you hate it, covid exists and measures have to be in place if Cornell wants to counteract infection. You can debate what those measures should be and you can even say that you don’t give a fuck about infection rates and don’t want any measures put in place. But, you can’t just flat out lie about covid, vaccine and booster efficacy, masking efficacy, etc.
Learn how to differentiate between expressing your opinion about something and just flat out spreading misinformation.
It’s the organization, the feeling, and the message that are so hard to nail. i thought that if i learned how to mix music well then it would automatically sound great, but nope. I feel like i have became an artist finally because it’s near impossible to create. Shit, even knowing what i resonate with is hard to figure out. Just so i can copy them so i can figure out what i want to do with my music. Shits so funny. I am not even frustrated with the situation, it’s comical. That’s the whole beauty of it.
>“I have a few names for it. I call it the 'Nordic Knife' or 'Splash Express,' Thompson told NBC Sports Bay Area's Kerith Burke at Warriors Media Day on the Dubs Talk Podcast.
> “She was made in Finland, so that’s Norwegian I think. She cuts the water like a knife, so I call her the Nordic Knife. People are like ‘why would you name your boat after a weapоn?’ I’m like ‘it’s not a weapоn it’s just the way she rides.’ It’s so fast. Then Splash Express is when I'm carrying my friends on board and we’re commuting.” > > Thompson has commuted to the Warriors' new waterfront Chase Center arena via the "Nordic Knife." While away from the court for back-to-back seasons after suffering knee and Achilles injuries, Klay's had some extra time on his hands. What better way to relax after two years of strenuous rehab than sailing around such a scenic bay? > > Fleet Week began in San Francisco this week, does Klay plans on joining in on the festivities? > > “Yeah, no question," Thompson said. "Gotta go out for Fleet Week. There’s a lot of boats out there, but it’s the vibe.”
And at this point I'm afraid to ask.
I've been avoiding this all my life. If I have to write a sentence that requires typing it or writing it I just change what I was going to write. Don't want to look stupid when it's literally my fucking name.
Every time I deliver and see a dog I have to honk or call the owner until they get their dog and every time I get a monologue about how their dog is sooo friendly and to not worry and how it’s name is “Sammy” or whatever. I’ve had people let their dog out as I’m walking up to deliver but get annoyed when I drop the package and run back to my van (causing them to have to walk 20 extra feet, horrifying!). I’ve had people start screaming and cursing about how their dog is friendly as I’m driving away, if their dog were so friendly and so well trained, they wouldn’t need to tell me. At this point I think I’m just gonna leave the package by the mailbox or just not deliver at all, but no matter what I do they still get annoyed. It’s as if they think a random person’s discomfort around an unfamiliar dog is a personal insult.
Do none of these people understand that there is such a thing as too friendly? And even if they are trained, I simply don't know them enough to trust that they're actually trained? Not to mention, in my experience, everyone says that their dog is friendly and would never hurt a fly, but if that were true how come so many people are killed and/or injured by dogs?? Often in my field people get injured because they get knocked down or tripped by a dog jumping up on them by being “too friendly”
Ironically, the people with the best behaved dogs are the ones who are the most understanding and keep their dogs inside. I have a guy and his access note is "If the dogs are out, just toss the package onto the lawn, they have a yard leash so don't worry about them running into the street". His dogs never bark and never seem to care, they just sit there eating grass or something
I should add if you also come into the store anyway because you waited over 5 minutes, as I already scrambled to get your stuff, went outside and couldn’t find you. I dislike you.
People wait longer in actual drive thrus.
I could say more but I’m just venting some good ole retail annoyances during the holidays. Have a great day tomorrow everyone!
I hope this is okay to post here? Just wanted to go directly to the source if that makes any sense!
I suppose the question is a bit more complex because I unfortunately don’t have a close circle of Asian guys around but I have been attracted to them since I was in my early teens ( no this is NOT a fetish, simply an attraction and even a preference)!
While I have heard HORROR stories of how difficult it can be to be accepted as a Black person into an Asian family , I still am interested 😭.
I have always been fascinated by the culture/customs of Asia and the diverseness of the people in general! ,I admire the beauty of the people and want to learn more about the struggles they face in society !
Sorry if this question is weird and I pray this doesn’t sound disrespectful in anyway! I always worry about how it can be considered socially unacceptable for an interracial pairing like this , even though I know they do exist , just seems rare. Also to be clear I am a very proud and happy Black woman and love being Black! But Just curious to hear y’all’s thoughts on this subject as it’s been on my heart for a while . 🙈 Thank you!!
Edit: WOW! I was not expecting to get much dialogue on this! I was actually thinking I’d hear a lot of negativity and discouragement, but you guys have shown the exact opposite and have been very, kind, insightful , and informative . Thank you guys so much , I guess there IS hope after all 🥺🥺🥺💕💕💕💕
