The war of 1812 rages on. President Madison and war hawks in congress just barely passed the declaration of war. But the war has only been on for 5 months by Election time. The war has so far not gone well for the untied states with being turned back from Quebec City and the Detroit river being taken. Although the us is holding off at sea and holding back a potential invasion of the east coast. The economy has also gone into a uptick due partly from war production and recover from 1807. This has been a boost for Madison who needs any boast given his current unpopularity.
The banking act of 1810 was passed and it solidified control and powers of the national bank. It has the national bank have control of the state banks and monitor and control currency and inter state trade. While Madison and the republicans want to modify the act to be more moderate the Torys and federalist want to expand it. Believing it helped the recovery hasten. Madison has also removed the embargo act which was easily passed by both houses. Madison then lowered tariffs to help rebound trade which it did work although the war of 1812 hit trade hard hit although not completely and trade has increased with France and America. Madison has lowered taxis briefly but to found the war Madison has made a 6 percent alcohol tax and other taxis have increased to pay for soldiers needs and pay there wages. Madison has also relayed largely on his cabinet and commander of the army Dearborn for military matters.
In the war the us has not made very many gains, while the natives have been pushed out of Indiana and Illinois they still harass Harrison’s supply rotes treating his survival. With large parts of his army under siege or flanked by milta Harrison is trying desperately to keep his supply’s open and rebound on Detroit and take the river back. The us has also been pushed out of Canada after the battle of Quebec City. Which now William Hull is likely to loss his job as commander and be replaced. As the Americans have now been beaten by a smaller Canadian milta force. However success has been made in taking the Niagara river and securing Buffalo and Erie plus the us has held the Royal Navy off at sea. But the wars popularity is still mixed nation wide and largely sectional with the fever of war is hard anti war in New England and pro war in the west.

As my first post, I offer this Gentleman's folder, which I am rating C. It has been carried in pocket frequently, and I have done my absolute best to highlight the scratching on the blade and bolsters. The knife was used in a retail setting to open and break down boxes. The blade is dull, and has never been sharpened. This knife has a really snappy half stop. I am the original owner, and the knife comes with the original box.

ZT0450CF (C for Mods) $140 - Everyone knows how awesome the action usually is on the 0450, and this one has the best of the 3-4 I've owned previously. Rated a C for mods because I swapped the back spacers with the red one's from the Ti version. There are a couple blemishes on the clip-side scale that I've tried to catch in photos. These are definitely exaggerated by the lighting so that they could be shown.
SOLD Massdrop X Ferrum Forge Gent (C for Mods) $70 - This is a fantastic little knife with a great action. There are some blemishes in the G10, and like the 0450, I've tried to capture them in the right light so they can be shown. Rated C for mods because I used Rit dye on the scales to get a navy blue color.
SOLD Lionsteel Roundhead CF (C for Mods) $80 - Another great knife that I hate to depart with, but I have a Dom also that I find myself wanting to carry more. Rated C for mods because the bolsters have been re-blasted to a more course finish, still has a perfect edge.
SOLD BM Mini Griptilian D2 (B) $80 - This is easily the best BM I've owned; it's centered well and the action is amazing. It's been carried a bit and cut maybe a couple packages open, but is otherwise in top notch condition.
Custom Damascus Scalpel (A?) $90 - This is something that a KS used made for me, but unfortunately I can't recall the name (something Caveman?) and to confirm it, I'd have to scroll through tons of messages. If you recognize the user or if this is your work, please reach out so I can give credit! This is an awesome scalpel with a really great, ergonomic design from a beautiful piece of damascus. I love everything about this piece, but it's just not practical for me and it needs to be with someone who will appreciate using it, not just looking at it. This is unused and never carried, only stored between my Pelican case or valet.

AD15 Clone - Original owner acid washed the blade but I am 95% sure it is a clone. Obviously no box or papers on this one $45
So I was looking through a list of wild mooshrooms when I found this strange looking one. The blue roundhead has a blue colouration with apparently purple spores. It's part of the family Stropharia which is in the same order argaricales as the fly argaic and has sometimes been grouped with cubes. There are varying reports as to the hallucinatory properties. I may have found a source to find them wild, if so I'll be sure to update it. Because even if you they don't make you go woahh they still pretty and maybe useful in crossing genetics idk.

Really classy and solid m390 Lionsteel Barlow Roundhead slipjoint with wood handle. Carried and used lightly, always in a leather slip. I have sharpened once and stropped. Not shaving sharp, though. There is a small nick on the titanium handle. Can see in the video. Comes with box. Made in Italy. C+ condition

Pena BHQ Trapper - (B+) Not the original owner, but as far as I can tell this guy is like new. Super fun action and excellent fit and finish. Some inconsistency in the dlc finish on one spot on the blade, but pictures make it look worse than it really is.

Spyderco Para 3 LW - (B) Para 3 LW in CTS BD1N. Seen some light use, has been stropped but not sharpened so still has clean factory edge. A little discoloration on the spydie logo seems to be the only cosmetic issue.

SOLD Chris Reeve Knives Sebenza 25 (B-) - $325 - DOB 6/18/14. This is a great knife. Buttery action. Perfectly centered. Complete box and papers. All 3 wrenches. Loctite is unused and grease might be too (hard to tell). Very light wear on clip. Small snail trail or two on the show side. Very, very good condition considering age. I have average hands and this fits like a dream. I really like this knife in hand. But it's heavier than I want to carry and not right for me as a desk toy. I never carried it outside the house and also never disassembled it. Cut paper. Edge appears factory and is hair splitting sharp. I'm probably at least the 3rd owner. Acquired here just last month.
Lionsteel Roundhead w/ blue ti bolsters (B-) - $105 - Such a classic little knife, but I haven't carried it in a while and have a Mnandi holding the fancy pants knife spot now. Blade is like new. I cut some chocolate truffles in half for my auntie last Thanksgiving. Edge is razor sharp and untouched. Micarta is in perfect shape. One bolster has lost a little anodization on the corners. I have photographed this in the most unflattering light I could find and it looks much worse than it is. You really won't notice it without looking for it.
