A list of puns related to "Romantic Drama"
I've been watching crime dramas for quite a while, even now. I have some time off right now so I think I could supplement with some Rom-Com/ Serious Romantic dramas too, as things have been dark with crime dramas lately.
I've seen quite a few of them like
"What's wrong with Secretary Kim, Her private life, Fight for my way, My mister, Crash Landing on you, Suspicious partner, Healer, Goblin, Hotel Del Luna, One spring night, Kill me Heal me, Something in the rain, 18 again, Descendants of the Sun, Legends of the blue sea, While I was sleeping, When the weather is fine. Gogh the starry night, Backstreet Rookie, Marriage not dating, Introverted boss" and many many more, I would say.
Whichever shows you think I should see, feel free to recommend, whether I've already seen it or not, as the list is pretty big.
Also, as I am very fond of finding out about "Underrated" dramas, feel free to recommend some Underrated Rom-com/ Serious Romantic/Relationship dramas and if possible provide some context as to why you think they are actually great and somehow missed by drama-watchers. Based on you guys suggestions, I will make a list for myself to watch over this year. Thanks.
I'm about to finish put your head on my shoulder ( c-drama ) it's a really cute and fluffy drama. And now I'm in a mood to watch something that is funny and feel good but not romantic. I mean this was a really good drama but It has filled my quota of romantic shows this monthπ . So please suggest something very light hearted and funny.
I donβt need it to be an angsty drama itself, in fact, Iβd prefer if it wasnβt. But I was realizing recently that I havenβt seen enough emotion from men in kdramas or any other Asian dramas for that matter.
The media often tells men to not apologize sincerely, not cry, not be sad, not show emotion. That really bothers me and the lack of raw, non-comedic vulnerability I see from men in dramas is disappointing, especially considering how they often overdo it for the women.
Do you have any drama recommendations (I prefer romantic or romcom dramas) with actual crying scenes or emotional scenes from men that arenβt displayed in a βfunnyβ way? Thank yβall! :)
i cannot get enough of doom at your service so pls help me find a drama where the ml got badboy image and is v protective wt the girl hh like myul mang γ γ (fantasy is well appreciated but any genre will do!!) thanxx
And I don't know why. I'm thrown back to my teenage years when I was getting high on drama and crushes, I was impulsive and wallowed in melancholy. I think a part of me has always remained in this phase and I just turned 30. I still dress like a teenager, I skate, play video games and play in a band, I still get obsessed with crushes, I love partying and flirting around. I still wallow in melancholy and think of life as a movie. I really don't want to part with this phase and "grow up" and get a boring, adult life for real. At the same time I feel ashamed of myself for being so immature and behind my peers. I don't know why I'm stuck in this teenage phase, I only know that I fell into a collapse/freeze/depression response at the age of 17 and have remained there since.
Hello,
I was watching Hyena and I have only watched the first episode (so don't attack me lol, idk if there is character growth, ik how loved it is on reddit) and it just reminded me of how tired I am of having female characters who are calculative, selfish, money-minded being classified as "badass" FLs.
I was just thinking if there is a kind, badass female lead in a drama, that would really be a breath of fresh air. And not kind like, I'll sacrifice myself and that kinda stupid kind, but just like if I have to think of someone (maybe the fl from when the camillia blooms or shopping king Louie). They were kind of pushovers but also real sweeties, who could put the male characters straight if they found something wrong and stand up for themselves in very satisfying ways ( more so the fl from when the camillia blooms)
Iβm so happy when I get to hang out with my girlfriend. I love her and when I get to cuddle her and kiss her, I feel so good. We used to always cuddle, kiss, make love, and just hang out at her house, but now her family is cracking down on me going to her house. Weβre both really bummed and stressed about it. Her uncle almost caught me there yesterday, but I managed to get away before he showed up. Anyway, now we lost our awesome hang out spot. It was perfect. In my life, it seems good things happen, only so their memories can torment me later.
Any shows where one character is a ghost and the other is mortal. Also, would like a show where the ghost character may seem βevilβ, but is actually protective and sweet. Maybe something like tgcf (Heaven officialβs blessing on Netflix).
Donβt mind if itβs kdrama or cdrama.
Have already seen oh my ghost, bring it on ghost. Might watch arang and the magistrate soon.
Please let know if you guys have any suggestions :) Thanks!
90s kid here. Grew up watching some Malashri movies on tv where she played typical lead actress roles in romantic/family dramas and was quite good at it. And then every movie she did portrayed her as a goonda busting action hero. When, why and how did that happen? I can understand if it happened much later in her career but it doesn't look like it.
My grandmother and I enjoy watching korean dramas (as you can probably understand from the question) I grew up watching daily korean drama's with her and makjang's which kept her attention. I love the old soap drama look and feel because my grandmother with Dementia is always keen to watch them with me and knows most of the actors whenever I was little. I do realize that most Korean drama's now, even the ones with the daily's have scrapped them entirely so we have relied mainly on the ones on SBS. My grandmother was not fond of Phoenix what so ever and found it to be heavily westernized and the amount of skinship was almost too much to her liking so we quit it. I know I am sounding like a snob but my grandmother isnt doing so well lately, and this is our chance to bond. She likes Amor Fati so far because she remembers the actress from Cheongdamdong Scandal and the other veteran actors and actresses. Its refreshing to see a warm smile on her face when she sees older faces that she used to watch. (She is 92) Please help?? Thanks!

Hi Everyone!
I'm a neurodivergent screenwriter based in Toronto, Canada. I daydream often, but I don't consider myself to be a maladaptive daydreamer. That said, I've recently written an exciting screenplay that I'd like to get feedback on from the MD community. I have friends who are maladaptive daydreamers and I understand that it's different for everyone, however, I believe that we need to see more content that explores neurodivergence in meaningful, thoughtful, and nuanced ways.
To that end, I'm looking for volunteers to read the script and provide feedback re: the way in which I've represented MD. I'd also like to hear from readers what they believe the script is about and what it's trying to say thematically.
The script features BIPOC characters (Asian male and Black female protagonists). It also deals with / explores social justice issues. Please only respond if you are genuinely open to / interested in reading that sort of material.
If you're interested in reading, please DM me, and I'll send you a link to the file. I'm ideally looking for feedback this week. Thank you so much! :-)
Here's the logline:

I just finished Dr. Romantic S1-S2 and I absolutely fell in love with all the scenes in the operating room! Are there more kdramas like Dr. Romantic? I've watched DOTS and I've also seen the cdrama YAMH (You are my Hero) which also has a lot of scenes in the OR.
I prefer a drama with more scenes where the doctors are in action (actually treating the patient) than political medical dramas. Thank you so much in advance! :)
Have these charactersβ relationships taught you something? Have you idealized any certain part of the relationship that you see?
For starters I really don't like dramas where's there's over the top cutesy stuff and where toxicity is portrayed to be romantic.... I'm not totally against the cute stuff though for example I like WFKBJ, SWDBS,A love so beautiful (cdrama). Just would like some recommendations wherein there's nice plot line and a good romance as well as character development similar to FLOWER OF EVIL( my absolute favourite kdrama) or Extraordinary you.
Which romance dramas (not too picky about sub-genre) have a happy ending that lasts for more than the last 5 minutes? Something that shows the wedding and/or the couple in the future, and not the couple getting together 30 seconds before the end. If itβs got at least an episode worth thatβs even better.
Dramas Iβve already seen
So, in the domestic abuse case, Jeremy is referring to the woman as a contractor.
Is this the woman he's married to and has a child with?
In this police report he says they've never been intimate with each other yet in this video he says "that's my wife" multiple times.
I'm not that caught up I guess. Does anyone have a diagram or something? Different women?
Edit: are these separate domestic dispute allegations? the video and the current one? kinda lost in the timelines.
Guys pleeeeaaaseeee suggest me a romantic drama which will give me butterflies? Please recommend shows like Her Private life? Good kisses with light storyline?
Plot does not have to revolve around the romantic storyline, but I would like for one to be present and strong. I know a lot of scripts have this element, but Iβm curious if anyone has any favorites that they would like to share for a summer reading list.
I watched this in 1990s and have been trying for years to track down its name. It was about a couple spending some time in a French countryside where the man's family and family business (chocolate, I think but am not 100% sure) are.
One of the man's relatives is a burly and aggressive man. The relative is pushy and hits on women. At first the main female character is disgusted by this aggressive relative, and rebuffs his advances, but she's mystified that some other women do yield to his attempts.
The film ends with the main female character choosing the aggressive man over the boyfriend / fiancΓ© that she originally comes to the village with.
Thanks, guys!
The year is around 1920's a few years before the Hitler Regime would become the World's darkest part of history. In London, there is a young Liverpool girl working as a stage hand for the infamous Little Queen's Theater. While working there, she meets a veteran of the Armed Forces from WW1. An older gentleman who is 42 when he meets the 24 year old female, with only an 18 year age difference standing between them. The young girl is named Aurora Steele, a descendant from French immigrants. Without much of a family backbone after her parents died, Aurora became self taught in the ways of sewing and being an independent girl for most of her years. But with the help of an older gentleman who has had his fair share of life experiences would be willing to take this young girl under his guidance while getting the benefits of no longer being alone and with someone who would become devoted to him!

So what did you think? I have other plots as well. This one is my favorite however there are others. I'll list them below and give a small description.
β₯The Sun King and His queen Mistress This is a roleplay set back in the last 1600s and early 1700s with King Louis XIV. Anyway like history, he does find comfort in a woman but in this tale it is not the Marquis. It is my oc AurΓ©lia Charbonneau, a woman of common wealth who works in the castle but takes the time to listen to her king's wishes and fantasies. She helps build him back up to the Nobel brilliant man he is!
Message me for more details! ππ
I'm tired of watching too much useless jealousy and lovey dovey. I like mature relationships, that perhaps have meaningful conversation or good chemistry however simple it might be. Adults acting like middle school lovers acting all cheesy is the last thing I want to watch right now. Thank you. π I've already loved She would never know, Hospital Playlist for the unusually common yet beautiful depiction of each relationship, writing was really good, screenplay was well executed too. osts were soo good. took my heart. I remember and get attached to simple conversation or act of kindness more than the whole incident itself. So anything simple would do too. π₯°
Okay, it looks like PB decided to continue with the professional/romantic jealousy subplot *sigh*
I'm gonna write a bit about this at the end of the post (so you can easily skip it) but I wanna start with showing how different the interactions with Harper (or in connection to her) were, depending on whether Ethan is your LI or not. I made a thread about the differences in chapter 1 as well, you can find it here.
ETA: added part 3.
1. The DT meeting
When Ethan and Harper get sidetracked by reminiscing about old memories, MC feels left out. You have 3 options to choose from:
The last one doesn't have any variations but the first 2 do.
1.1. Excuse me, can we focus on the case, please?
If you choose the first option, the ending of the dialogue differs:
Note the extra line and the sad expression...
1.2. I had that 'flu' once in med school.
Technically, this isn't a romantic/platonic difference, as the dialogue depends only on buying the chapter 1 scene with Ethan (don't even need to sleep with him, it's enough to sneak away). But I guess it's safe to say that if someone isn't interested in pursuing Ethan, they are not likely to buy that scene so I wanted to include this difference:
without buying the ch 1 scene with Ethan
If you bought the ch 1 scene with Ethan
2. Andrew's reading of MC
Conclusion: 2 chapters in, they seem to be forcing the jealousy angle. And honestly, my opinion hasn'

Hi Everyone!
I'm a repped writer who also happens to be neurodivergent. I've recently written a romantic drama on spec that features maladaptive daydreaming, and I'd love to get some feedback from anyone in the community who self identifies as a maladaptive daydreamer, re: the way in which I've represented MD throughout the script.
