A list of puns related to "Resort Town"
I was just able to make a career switch, so now I have the ability to work fully remote. The last three years Iβve only been able to snowboard twice, so Iβm definitely looking to change that. Iβm looking to move to a resort town in the winter. I live in New England, so Iβve been checking out living in Killington VT. Iβve also checked out Reno Nevada, living there to board the Lake Tahoe resorts. But that is probably more of a 3 year goal. Any tips on living in a resort town, or recommendations on places to move to?
So I really dig the whole small town/can't escape/we're up against some sort of evil/monsters kinda thing. I really enjoyed Phantoms by Dean Koontz and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. (Yes, I have read/considered reading their other books already). I'd be looking for new authors preferably, so I can whiz through their bibliography. Thank you!

I'm looking for a fic that is >NOT< "Noncompliant or Just How Angry Was He" by Lil Nezumi. The fic I'm looking for (I'm going to call it "Target Fic" so I don't have to keep saying "the fic I'm looking for") has a lot of similarities, but also differences.

This post is dedicated to the memory of Rich Anderson who contributed to the original article about New Baden Springs in the Chariton Collector many years ago.
Hello, r/Kirksville! Today I bring you the story of New Baden Springs, a resort located near Midland, a town a few miles away from Kirksville. The resortβs official name was New Baden Springs Health Resort and it was opened in 1882 to much fanfare and excitement. In addition to plotting a town at the site with businesses, a church, many lots for sale at the price of $50, and a three-story hotel, the owners of the resort captured the water from a natural spring in the area, heated it, and pumped it into outdoor tubs for visitors to enjoy. On May 19, 1882, the Kirksville Weekly Graphic published the first of several articles that claimed the waters had healing properties and could heal illnesses from tuberculosis to kidney disease. It is said that despite the 15 mile buggy ride from Kirksville, the resort was quite popular among townsfolk. Whether the waters actually had healing properties, I cannot attest to that ;-)
Eventually, after the hotel burned down and the residents of New Baden Springs instated a prohibition on alcohol (a meeting which drew 1,500 to 2,000 people might I add!) the town shrank little by little until the early 1900s when a farmer bought the land to raise animals and crops. While the town itself may have dried up, the spring still flows to this day.

When booking a room at The Inn & Club Harbour Town in Hilton Head, AmEx shows I have a $100 Experience Credit. Was curious if anyone has used this and what it can be used for. Any info would be appreciated!
Whenever I leave the beach, I've still got sand on me, even if I rinse off when I exit. Inevitably the rest of it gets washed off in a shower or bath. How the hell does all that sand not add up with everyone doing this, practically all at once in the same hotel or in the same town? Wouldn't the sand plug up pipes, or damage them? Wouldn't it ruin a municipal sewer system to have such a steady stream of sediment? What the heck gets done about this?

All the more so when we realized they were horny.
Hey all. I am wondering if it is safe to drive back to our resort that is 2-3 miles from San Pedro after dark? TIA
