Thank you in advance for anyone who takes the time to read all this...I am in the darkest place imaginable and have no idea where to turn. I appreciate any suggestions beyond words can express. I am aware there could multiple things going on/a lot of unknowns here and it's so much information, I just didn't know which can be related or which is helpful, so I tried to include the best I could. I decided to post here once I read about some long Covid symptoms that seem to overlap with mine, as well as the Mast Cell/POTS/Chronic Fatigue link to Long Covid. Sorry for anything that's posted here that isn't exactly relevant...I posted on the askdocs subreddit but didn't receive a response. I am curious if anyone else has experienced symptoms similar to mine.
Symptoms began September 2020 and each week there seems to be new, bizarre, excruciating additions. A lot of them come and go, some of them go away, some worsen, and then there are always new things. I can't list them all because we'd go on forever, but if there's any questions please let me know. I had a probable Covid infection April 2020 but nothing confirmed--my Dad who I lived with was diagnosed with Covid at that time, he was hospitalized and I became sick with same symptoms--however I was unable to get a test. He later passed away from Covid complications.
I am 32F. Have been vaccinated with Moderna x3.
Medical issues that that have been diagnosed: Celiac Disease, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Ehlers-Danlos (hypermobile), POTS, Pituitary Microadenoma, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Variety of symptoms: Global pain all day but seems to worsen in the evening/night (this is the hardest symptom to describe because a.) sometimes the sensations of the pain change, and the location can be random. And b.) I've never felt anything so excruciating it makes me scream out loud frequently, I have no warning it's coming. Feels at times like sustained firing nerve pain, like electrical-type zaps that feel like an ice pick or a needle stabbing at you and takes your breath away. Sustained pain that holds you down in a vice, it doesn't go away immediately, seems to come in spells. Can feel like tearing/ripping/burning/biting pains. Will migrate and travel all over body--i.e. side of head, foot, thumb or toe of all places, wrist, pelvis, face, eye, chest, stomach, etc. Allodynia/extreme skin sensitivity (sometimes fabric or bedding or water triggers this), Weakness (mostly in legs and feet), Bilateral leg/foot stiffness

This post is about my elder brother 31yo, Indian from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, 5'8" height, weighs around 90 KGs. He usually stays in his room, comes out one afternoon moving very slow towards my dad's room about 10 meters away from his. He'd passed me sitting and working on the desk next to his room, and I thought he had just woken up from sleep. But then when he was outside my dad's room he started weakly moaning, and I heard my younger brother who was in my dad's room ask "what happened?!" worriedly. I immediately went to see what was happening, and my elder brother couldn't manage to stand, the moment I got there and tried to give him support, he was beginning to collapse, I supported him as much as I could (he's somewhat heavy, and I'm a little thin) enough to slow it down to have him seated up against the wall outside our dad's room.
We checked his sugar levels, which was a little low and gave him some glucose water, which helped a little. We also checked his bp, which was normal. He started profusely sweating, we decided to help shift him over to the bed in my dad's room.
We lay him on the bed in my dad's room making it dark form him, and when he was able to speak he was saying that he was seeing black lines in his vision and that it was dizzying if he tried to get up.
Prior to him coming out his room in the beginning, he was brushing his teeth, and picking/flossing with one of those pick-flosses and had hit a cavity, he said that when he rinsed his mouth he saw the water colored a little red, and after this the next thing he remembers is being on his back on the bathroom floor, one of our two dogs that stays with him, licking him awake.
It was now difficult for him to get up, but he managed to do so, and made it till the door of his room and the next thing he remembers again is waking up on the floor of the room now, the dog licking him awake again.
After this is when he came out of the room when I saw him. He also mentioned that when he was outside my dad's room, he does not remember me coming over to him, my younger brother asking him "what happened?", just that he was standing outside our dad's room and the next thing he remembers was that we were all around him asking him what happened, and him seated on the floor with his back against the wall outside my dad's room as I'd placed him.

... keep reading on reddit ➡A resident of mine passed today. He was hospice and riddled with tumors so it's not a surprise but it seemed so sudden. On second he was on the pot trying to pass a BM, chatting with an aid. The next he was slumped against the wall and wholly unresponsive.
We tried for about 5 minutes to get him back to responsiveness but couldn't get a BP or pulse read, even manually with a Stethoscope. From that point he just slowed down and stopped altogether. It was 10 minutes from loss of consciousness to death.
What happened?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Hello everyone, I just have a quick question about what to expect for the comlex level 1. A lot of people say they had heavy syncope questions, how do you suggest studying those topics? Are you ok if you know the basic types of syncope (reflex syncope, orthostatic, etc) and the physiology behind it?
Also a lot of people say vaccines are heavy, do we just need to know which vaccine to use for what or is it heavy on the immunology behind each vaccine type as well?
