A list of puns related to "Pruner"
What a load of shite. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Husband's idea to go so I have begun divorce proceedings.
Does anyone know a set of hand pruners that don't exhibit any of the following:
The blades always stay sharp enough, but they just stop working as intended in a season of two of heavy hand pruning.
Hey I've been Preparing my world for Caves and Cliffs, And have alot of builds on it. One question for people who utilize Chunk Pruners how do I ensure I don't accidentally delete important chunks? Like I've been thinking of ingame marks in game for the birds eye view. But does anyone have any better more reliable suggestions?
Just applied some 3 in 1 oil on secateurs that looked a bit knocked up from the wind. I applied it on with some drops and rubbed it in with some paper. I then used it immediately on my lemon trees. Was wondering if I should it let it dry before I prune?
Hope this is the right place to post! I read that vegetable oil can suffice, would olive oil be fine to use to oil my gardening pruners? :)
Hello everyone,
I'm wanting to put some money down for a well-made pole saw. Right now, I have a 16' Fiskars one that's just crap - the pull-cord broke after only a dozen uses, the extension locking collar doesn't really lock the pole, etc. etc.
I'm wondering what the go-to pole saw in the arborist business is. I'd greatly appreciate recommendations for either a chainsaw-style pole saw, or a manual bypass-cutter-and-manual-saw-combo pole saw. My only request is that it be at least 15' long at full extension.
Thank you for your time and help!
Has anyone had any luck using their Milwaukee m12 PVC Shear as a tree branch pruner?
Seems like it would do the job, but just might be a bit heavier and slower than a real pruner. But probably more powerful too.
Hello everyone,
Some of you may remember my post from a few weeks ago asking for recommendations on professional-quality pole saws and pruners. The votes came in, fairly evenly split between Jameson and Silky.
From what I've seen, Jameson and Notch poles are based around separate segments that click together, available in three different materials: Wood, Fiberglass, and some kind of lightweight fiberglass for Jameson (The B-Lite poles). The Silky Hayauchi pole, on the other hand, now sold under the Notch brand as the Sentei pole, is a telescoping aluminum design.
I would like to get somewhere between 16-20' of pole. I realize this can get a bit wobbly, but I will only ever be pruning from the ground, I will never be climbing the tree, so the length of my pole dictates how far up I can prune, with no way around that.
What I gathered from my previous posts is that the jameson style of connecting segments creates more wobble, especially if you're using two extensions (as I would be), and not just one. Everyone said the Silky pole was more stable, but at the same time, always mentioned the fragility of the silky system -- both the blade, and the pole. Because of this, I can't really decide on what's best for me.
The products I'm considering are:
The Jameson B-Lite 18' Big Mouth Pruning Kit ($319) - Three segments of lightweight fiberglass
The Notch Sentei 16' Pole and Saw, with the Sintung 50 Lopper ($358)- Extendable Aluminum
Now, these prices are already a bit more than I can afford, so I'm really wanting to make sure I'm getting the best product for me. Any insight and opinions you all can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
