Lately I've been listening some comp. albums like Global Underground (by Nick Warren, Sasha etc) and Renaissance Masters Series, i've heard so many good tracks but they do not fit in general sound of trance (not as uplifting and high bpm as trance) but they're not 'house' either... What exactly differs progressive from 'normal' trance?

so i wanted to bring up a good question i think. how many of you are still feeling tronce 2.0??? i would really like to know. this is the genre that i never want to see go out of style. tracks like genix & sunny lax - arrival, axis - echoes, audien - wayfarer and so on. a load of catalogs from anjuna, enhanced progressive, elliptical sun, infrasonic progressive, ASOT, suanda progressive and so many more are putting out these bangers. i do enjoy the more deeper trance and progressive catalogs from say anjunadeep, colorize and whatnot but 2.0 is still my go to sound in trance. it’s so energetic with the filthy baselines amazing breakdowns and uplifting drops. i really hope it stays alive forever. lmk your thoughts.
