People let their kids play it which is crazy dangerous then center huge community functions around basically having kids brutalize eachother, it shortens the players lives like crazy, its sooo slow paced and people get so excited over basically nothing happening -but the dangerous concussion ass bullshit happens every play so brain damblage for nuffin kids, you could literally fall asleep and then get scared awake by somebody 20 mins later because something finally happened and they fucking exploded next to you, the scoring is fucking stupid, and people fucking love it to the point that they build their whole personalities around being a fan of a team which is equally as shitty and dumb.

I am a sexual assault survivor. Wow. I can't believe I've even said it out loud. It's something I have kept buried deep as I have no clue how to handle it. I've been to therapy, but Ive never managed to even get to it with all the other crazy stuff in my life I've had to learn to manage.

I was a teenager, and it went on for months. At the time I believed it was my fault because my parents and my church had told me that boys are just less capable of controlling themselves than girls, so it was the girl's responsibility to keep a boy off of her. I see that's total garbage now, and I wish I could go back to my fifteen year old self and tell her.

Eventually I did tell my mom what happened, twice actually. Both times she just stared at me and said nothing. Sometime later she was going on about herself, about how she is such a victim and using her victimhood to aggrandize herself and she brings up my SA!!!! She used it to aggrandize herself! Saying how my SA made her such a special little victim blah blah blah. I cut her off and said I had no idea what she was talking about.

She never directly brought it up again, but lately has been making jokes about the guy I told her assaulted me repeatedly. I am having a baby, and before we knew the gender, she made jokes about how if it was a girl when she started dating that my dad would have to follow her around with a shotgun like he did with XXX. (Side note: I'm having a boy, and he is not going to be taught to have this kind of garbage thinking.)

I responded like I often do and just blanked out, said what I needed to for the interaction to pass, and my emotions hit me later when I was away from her. I'm so terribly angry and hurt. It's even more of a slap in the face as she still loves to go on about how she is a "survivor" and about how she has done so much to help other women and basically about how she is such a special little hero... But when it comes to her daughter actually being assaulted, it was just about her. It's something else to aggrandize herself, something to joke about.

I guess I'm just posting to finally let it out in a safe space. Thanks for reading. Has anyone else's BPD parent ever done something like this?

I was mistreated for missing a dead loved one, for having depression. On and on. I know there are a lot of opinions out there. I'm not trying to get rich or famous, maybe my story could help others and I'd like to have a record out there so my sons know what happened. I live in a terrible part of the city now. People are murdered all the time. I mean, of course my life story has to be about me. Maybe my depression is just really bad. I can barely tell anymore.
