A list of puns related to "Privatise"
It just scares me so many hard working people will have their jobs further ruined and not just healthcare ones.
I can't stay in this province that continues to not just fight against progress but actively regresses. I don't have the best finances, but I won't stay and let Scott Moe and the saskparty drag this province through the mud.
We are the province universal health care comes from, our previous premier FOUGHT for universal health care and Scott Moe will spit on that legacy for private companies. They might as well rename Tommy Douglas highschool, since it's clear this province doesn't care for him.
I am born and raised in Saskatoon, in my blood is the river, in my bones the bridges, and in my heart is the Prairie but I will not let my morals be compromised for Scott Moe and the Sask Parties greed.
I don't know if anyone feels the same but I feel so bad. I keep hoping this province will see the light but it appears that they will continue to burrow themselves into the dirt until they are rooted out like the pests that they are.
Had to get this off my chest. I hate it here.
Bristol City Council have announced a budget consultation for 2022/23 because of a £23 million spending gap. You'll be able to have your say pretend to have been consulted on important money saving measures such as:
Which in normal speak sounds like:
My suggestions for improving the finances of the city include:
I don't mind my council tax going up to provide improved services and better pay for council workers. But I am fuming at the complete and utter shit show that has occurred under the last 6 years of Rees.
Then they have the gaul to ask us what we want sold off, cut, or scaled back.
Shame. Shame on you Rees.
Privatise water way and chartered boats service in Kerala.
Have toll booths in every crossing city. (Similar to highways.) Each city is responsible for maintaining their waterways and creating attractions. A good revenue stream for cities. And allow private and public boats for leisure and transportation. Win-win for the public.
അവരുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വം ആയിരിക്കും waterway clean, remove sand and create restaurants and shops near waterways to attract tourist.
Leisure and Transportation services സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഗവൺമെന്റ് പ്രൈവറ്റ് പാർട്ടികൾക്ക് tender കൊടുക്കുന്നു (Similar to private bus service).Good tax revenue for State and Taluk/ Village.
Win-win for Government and public.
Easily accessible and lot more places to visit for tourist. That makes it longer stay for tourist in Kerala.
( I am not in favor of tolls, but need revenue for maintenance (Similar to tolls in Suez canal)
This might be the first of this kind of project in the world. so far I haven't find anywhere else doing the same.
The idea of the Royal Family is, to me, abhorrent. It seems ridiculous to me that our current head of state is only in power because she was in the right uterus at the right time. Allegations of political interference by the royals should be seen by all as undemocratic and corrupt - all the more so when the royals appear to be doing so to benefit themselves. And I am disgusted that they live a life of luxury and privilege whilst vulnerable members of society look set to suffer.
Yet, polling shows that this very weird family enjoy widespread support in the UK. Latest YouGov polling shows that some 61% of respondents around the UK want the monarchy to continue, with only 24% favouring a democratically elected head of state. Those of us who want to abolish the monarchy face an uphill struggle. Perhaps it is time for some new thinking on this idea?
I therefore call for a compromise solution - the privatisation of the monarchy. The Queen (and her heirs and successors) can retain her ceremonial position as head of state, although all interaction with the elected government and the institution of parliament should be ceased. The Queen should be completely removed from parliament and government. They can retain their ceremonial titles if they want, and I don't care about the Church of England side. The family can retain their current assets, but further funding from the state will not be provided. They will also have to provide their own security, should they wish to do so.
Monarchists are often quick to cite the positive effects they perceive through tourism revenue and so on. This would be an opportunity to them to put their money where their mouth is. If the Royals really do generate a surplus for the economy, then they can absolutely do so. The Tories are usually keen to privatise, and Conservative voters overwhelmingly (89%) support the monarchy, so this seems like it should be a natural win for them.
Routes to generating revenue for the Royals are varied, and only limited by their own imagination. Obvious examples include:
Maybe something like letting everyone working in it already stay and then giving stocks of equal share to every citizen for example.
I think something like that would be the most fair way of doing it, but of course it depends on every case.
So we are testing a few cloud vpn/zero trust style products and was curious what others are having success with? Our main goal is to lock down all our products like RMM, PSA, O365, Sharepoint, etc via conditional access to just whitelisted ip’s. Secondary would be also reselling this to our clients that want it so ideally MSP friendly and multi-tenant management. We have Sophos firewalls at the main office but don’t want that to be our only source of access in case the building, etc loses power. Ideally I’d like to have a cloud based product and then have our office static IP as a secondary backup. Anyway— my main thing is that most products seem to support whitelisting— but you need a static IP. Products I mentioned above do offer statics at some additional cost— which is perfectly fine— but then things get a bit tricky.
My main situation I’m curious about is how you are handling “personal” devices like cell phones? So users that have company owned laptops would have everything tunneled through the vpn and all the normal protections, but we do have some users that access some work resources like MS 365 email and Sharepoint/OneDrive via their personal phones. I was thinking a second group/network for these that would be a “split” tunnel— basically work resources run through the vpn but we don’t want any personal traffic routing through that due to user privacy and the fact that I don’t need to see what they are doing personally.
Any thoughts or input on what everyone is having success with? Are there any other products/vendors out there I should be looking at?
Thanks!!
Like the title says. The City's administration will be tabling their report to council today. It's the first step in a process that could see our public golf courses being privatised. Our rec centres being privatised. Charges for things like parking at Ft. Edmonton or the Valley Zoo. The whole list is here.
