A list of puns related to "Presumption Of Innocence"
Please read the following article from the Post Crescent January 19. 2006:
Ken Kratz, Sherry Culhane, Jerry Pagel and Mike Halbach
Ken Kratz lied about the WSCL confirming the bones belonged to Teresa Halbach. Fact is there were not enough Loci available for Sherry Culhane to make a positive identification determination regarding the bones. She only tested item BZ- Charred Material, and still wasn't able to make a positive identification. The FBI was sent bone fragments and a cutting from item BZ. The FBI stated that the bones were too far destroyed to extract a positive DNA identification of Teresa, that Q1 (a cutting from item BZ) could not rule out Teresa as the contributor, but it certainly fell short for positive identification purposes. That was in 2006. DNA testing has jumped light years since then as we now know.
Sherry Culhane's DNA testing of item BZ- Charred Material fell well short in Loci markers to make a definitive identification that the material belonged to Teresa Halbach. That did not stop her from inflating her probability statistic that it did come from Teresa Halbach from the truthful and accurate statistic of 1- 65,000 people... to 1-1billion people.
Jerry Pagel told news sources during an open press conference that the FBI has identified the bones as belonging to Teresa Halbach. This was a massive lie told to the public by Jerry Pagel. In truth The FBI report only suggested that item Q1- could not be excluded as belonging to Teresa Halbach, but could not make a positive determination either way and that the bones fragments were too far gone to conduct DNA testing on.
Mike Halbach furthered the bone identification inaccuracies by broadcasting Jerry Pagel's false information about the bones belonging to Teresa via statements he gave to news outlets during the same time period. Going so far as citing Teresa Halbach's death certificate as proof of what he claimed what they already knew.
The blatant misrepresentation and lies regarding the identification of Teresa Halbach's bones being 100% identified by both the Wisconsin State Crime Lab and the FBI were broadcast to the mass public BEFORE Dean Strang and Jerry Buting took the case. Talk about swimming upstream against the strong current of public perceptions.
By this point in time in 2006, the Wisconsin public formally

I know some people will claim this is a "popular opinion", but since this whole shitshow went down the other day, all I am seeing is people with pitchforks and torches.
Back when he first claimed this assault happened in January, my first reaction was that it was fake as fuck. Many people came to the same conclusion, of course--it just didn't add up, and there was even a post here about it as well. Of course, many people used it as an opportunity to promote their agenda--they just assumed he was telling the truth and because they wouldn't (who would?) want to believe someone would orchestrate such a thing.
Now that he has been charged, it is the exact opposite--his detractors and initial supporters both are all against him, articles are talking about him as if he is guilty, just as they were talking as if his "assailants" were guilty before he was charged.
What if he isn't guilty? Imagine how he must be feeling. Even if he is guilty (and let's be clear, I do believe he likely is), maybe we should stop to ask ourselves why he would do such a thing? Maybe he is dealing with undiagnosed mental illness. Maybe he is struggling with some other personal demons. I would argue that a person who is in a normal state of mind would not perpetrate such an act. If he is guilty, it should he seen as a red flag for his own well-being. Or maybe people just don't care about his well-being if he is, in fact, guilty.
All that said though, even if you can't muster any empathy for a person who would do such a thing, maybe you can at least let the legal process run its course first. This epidemic of "guilty until proven innocent" is a disgusting plague on our society, and this is just the latest example of it.
This is an extremely troublesome statement found on the political quiz at spekr.org .
Anyone who agrees with it, even slightly, should be shot. There is no room for such bullshit in human civilization.
