A list of puns related to "Potting Shed"
I don't enjoy writing this post. I consider myself to be a very positive person and try not to dwell on the negative things in my life. However, with the way my wife and I have been treated by these absolutely despicable companies, I wanted to share the news as much as possible to avoid anyone else falling into the same trap I currently find myself in.
Let's rewind back to July of 2019. My (at the time) fiancee and I are recently engaged and planning our dream wedding for July 2020. We decided to have the wedding in Kitchener and picked all of vendors to set up the day we've always dreamed of.
We go to From the Potting Shed to set up the floral arrangements, and we have about an hour long meeting there to choose what we'd like. It all goes great and the employee we met with was super lovely and happy to help us. As we close the meeting, she informs us that the cost for the entire thing will be $4435, and if we pay this amount by the end of the week, we can avoid the tax. Sounds great! We send a few e-transfers to them, and everything seems set for our wedding the following summer.
Then, as you are all aware, a pandemic struck. Our wedding in July of 2020 was no longer going to be an option. We sent all of our vendors an email saying we were pushing the wedding back to July 2021. All of them, including our florist, said no problem.
In January 2021, my wife and I again faced the tough call of being unsure whether we would be able to have our wedding with the amount of cases and lockdowns in Ontario. We ultimately decided to cancel our Ontario wedding and have a small wedding here in Vancouver.
We reached out to all of our vendors to notify them of this cancellation, and we received full refunds (apart from non-refundable deposits, of course) from all of our vendors, except one.
Radio silence. Nothing. No response at all, despite us sending multiple emails to From the Potting Shed, and the other company run by the same woman: Cambridge School of Flowers. We tried messaging them on both of their facebook pages, several times. Still nothing. Overall, we sent close to 15 e-mails/messages requesting some form of communication be opened up about some form of refund.
So finally, we saw no other option than to drop in with a surprise visit. We flew back to Ontario at the end of July to spend a few weeks with family, and took a drive to Cambridge on one of the 3 days Cambridge School of Flowers is open (Thurs - Sat).
We walk in and begin speaking with the c

We have a teeny backyard thatβs all concrete - we are trying to make it as lush and inviting as possible - with a loose goal of achieving a fun, beachy, tropical vibe.
Any ideas for how to paint that back potting shed? Iβm mentally prepared to paint almost everything. Ceiling/walls/doors/cupboardsβ¦
I found a palette we like pretty well, which Iβve included with the other pictures. Just not sure what color to paint what? Or if there are better color combos to consider?
Would love to hear your ideas, Reddit!
Will happily post before/after pics for your viewing pleasure!
