My boyfriend and I are in our mid 20โs and we are coming to HHI for the first time.
We found a little condo on AirBnb at The Spa on Port Royal Sound. I really like that it so far away from most of the tourist stuff. And it looks beautiful there. But is the water there okay to actually swim in? Or would we be better going to another beach to actually swim?
Also if anyone has any suggestions of fun stuff for couples to do there, I would love to hear them! We are going kayaking one day and we plan on going on a boat one day. Other than that, we donโt know.
Thanks!
I know - I know. The servers can't handle it.
But this game isn't exactly dead, and they're still adding new content - so I'm hopeful that eventually they'll be able to incorporate something like this.
Imagine an island roughly half the size of the shores of gold - with plenty of jagged rocks, sand bars, and tiny islands surrounding it (forcing you to sail at half mast to approach) - but long and thin (like wanderers refuge on steroids).
Much like Smugglers Bay, there'd be a single bay (large enough to fit every ship on the server inside - barely) with a small (but bigger than Smugglers) entrance into the Port on one side of the island.
The closest island we have to it would be the sea dogs outpost - but really that's just another outpost. With this city - I see larger versions of everything at regular outposts.
The shipwright here could not only swap you between ship models (going from sloop to galleon without leaving the game), but be able to repair your ships back to new condition and sell you row boats (which you can choose between the attachments on the front for various amounts). This would result in a shipwright building much larger than those at all the other outposts.
Another thing that could be expanded is the ability to sell resources to the AI. Leaving crates full of resources at outposts at the end of your game session is alright - but I'd much rather sell a crate full of special cannonballs for some dabloons or something, and id like to be able to sell smaller amounts of resources - possibly even single items. For example - a special ball could be sold for 50 gold (or 5 dubloons) and you can buy a crate of assorted special balls for 5,000 gold or 500 dubloons.
This city would have a ton of NPCs to interact with, which obviously could create the ability to do a tall tale or two without leaving the city or island. Additionally, I see games like liars dice, cards, and other interactive things that you could do at the city.
The one thing I keep thinking about is a man o' war quest from this city.
Port Royal was a pirate city because they were used to defend from the Spanish. The Spanish created the city, then the English took it. When governments stopped giving out letters of marque, many of the crews turned pirate, and the Governor hired them to defend the Port from the Spanish.
This lore in itself provides a great quest for a man o' war style quest where you must get 6 people

For reference my build is
-Reference 6900xt with ekwb custom loop
-5950x on same loop
-g.skills trident z 16 gb 4000 downclocked and tightened to 3600 cl14
-2tb Samsung 970 evo
-Gpu stats, 2740-2840 boost set, 1175mv, power limit increased to 365w max +15%, mem at 2124mhz fast timings.
To be clear I don't use those settings 24/7 I drop to 2700-2800 clocks and maintain around 2730mhz sustained 100%load in games, power draw around 330w. Still really happy with the score and hoping in the future we can get custom bios options to increase further.
Edit - just to give everyone some more info, I made a post a while ago about my initial findings with overclocking the 6900xt. Those all pretty much stay true today. Basically if you have good cooling, maxing the voltage to 1175mv (which is what it runs stock btw), and upping your power limit by at least 50w or more through morepower tool should let almost every 6900xt perform about the same as me give or take. If you are power limited (like all stock cards) and you don't want to mess with morepowertool, then an undervolt will give you great results. and if you are thermally limited I'd do undervolt as well. You can see my post here with more details. There is a HUGE misconception that an undervolt with these cards is the end all be all. That is only the case if thermally or power throttled. Mainly wondering where merchandise is at, do pit passes get you access to the stands too, best times to meet drivers, and can I wear KTJ and Brad Sweet merch around the posse?
Hi there guys and girls
So after some testing and getting hminfo to read actual GPU power draw I can safely say max power draw in time spy was 580watts from 2x8 pin and when underclocked with 2100mhz it was around 550watts.
In Haven's benchmark normal gaming workload, it hits 490 watts.
All this power and only 45c max on the core on water. what are your guys' thoughts on this is it a decent score? would you do anything differently?
