Everyone else just plays along like "Yes Oliver we know you had sex with 20 women last week you're so hetero it's becoming physically painful to endure"

Selling because they donβt get enough wear and would rather have the money. Both in great condition and original owner.
Polo-Unwashed, worn twice briefly. Comes with original tags. Hard to find. Size L, fits true to size-loose. Get it for $old on Facebook.
Hoodie-doesnβt get enough use as I rather wear heavier hoodies. Washed twice, worn handful of times. Completely stainless and crisppp. Size M, fits oversized but straight. Also has tightener tabs. Comes with original tags as well. Asking $170 shipped obo
Get both for $300 shipped obo. Prices are very negotiable. Itβs hard to judge the market on these and Iβm just trying to recoup some cost. Thanks!
I am at the beginning of my sewing journey and am learning via the Internet. I am making a half circle skirt from a cotton poplin fabric which I would like to line as it feels too lightweight at the moment.
Everything I have read says that a lining needs to be lighter weight than the main fabric. Why is this?
I have some bedsheets which I believe are Egyptian cotton. I think the bedsheet is a heavier weight than the poplin. What will be the consequences of the fit/wear of the skirt if I were to use a heavier fabric to line it? I'm planning to attach it at the zip and waistband only.
I have made a second circle skirt from the bedsheet and pinned them together. It feels like it gives the skirt more volume which I don't mind but does make the skirt noticeably heavier. I want this skirt to be worn regularly so it needs to be robust. I have also tried a polyester taffeta lining fabric but it feels very noisy when brushing against the cotton.
Please could you advise what you recommend to line a poplin (and quilting cotton) skirt with? Thank you.

I ordered some cotton poplin online to make my first dress. However, the pattern of the fabric is more intense than I expected it to be. I was going to add panels of a solid colour to calm down the pattern a bit. Can I use knit fabric to make side panels? Is it simple to connect the two, or will they pucker/ otherwise behave strangely?
Iβm comfortable with knits, but have never used poplin before. Thanks for any advice!
I tried cotton poplin from several brands and it keeps happening, but the rest of my clothes are fine when washed... what should I do?
One of my BFFs has legs for days and an enviably outrageous inseam to match, so I've offered to make her a pair of trousers of her choosing as a gift.
She's after zebra print, ideally a denim or similar weight based on the style she wants, but I can't find anything heavier than poplin which won't look right.
Anyone come across any? Bonus points if it ships to the UK.
I used tension 2 and stitch length 2

Updating my original sale post to add two pieces I picked up during spring 2 that didnβt work for me. Both were tried on once and then put pack in their included dust bags and set aside. I will leave them posted till Thursday and listen to any reasonable offers but will just return them afterwords (trying to avoid store credit over just getting cash back). I have included timestamp pics and can take more or answer any questions. Still looking to sell or trade my Kith Lucky Charms hoodie as well. I will leave the original included text but have marked down the price again and for the final time in hopes to get a smaller size. Thanks so much!
Original sale post text: I bought the hoodie a couple weeks ago and am in love with the hoodie itself but after trying it on, it runs too big for my liking (fits like an XL). I would love to trade for a medium or find it a lovely new home otherwise. It includes the tags, dust bag and collectors box.
For reference I paid 210 for it and the box has a couple slight creases but nothing major. I sell a lot of things on Reddit and have good sale history and references as well as Mercari and Offerup.
