TIL: Pemberton's French Wine Coca was the start of Coca Cola. The famous drink actually started out as a wine developed by John Smith Pemberton to combat his drug addiction. Later, due to prohibition, it was transformed from a wine to a cocaine filled cola and then into the Coke we know today.
