Ik was op weg naar huis op de fiets (met functioneel voor- en achterlicht, we zijn voorzichtig). Er stond een vrachtwagen geparkeerd op de fietsstrook, dus ik begon langzaamuit te wijken zodat ik er om heen kon. Een achterop komende automobilist meende dat hij voorrang had, hing op zijn toeter en kwam even later langszij rijden. Hij gooide een paar ziektegerelateerde verwensingen naar m'n hoofd, riep dat ik geen voorrang had en toen ik zei dat dat niet zo was parkeerde hij zijn auto schuin op het fietspad de fietsstrook. Ik kon er gelukkig nog om heen en was niet van plan te stoppen om met deze malloot te gaan praten. Toen ik de deur van de auto open hoorde gaan heb ik eieren voor m'n geld gekozen en ben ik toch wat harder gaan fietsen. Hij heeft me nog tot twee keer toe klem proberen te rijden, beide keren niet gelukt, gelukkig. Ik had ondertussen wel door dat er niet met hem te praten viel en wenste hem een goede nacht. Ik kreeg terstond een bak(je) van, wat later bleek, chocoladeijs naar m'n hoofd. Raak, ook nog. En hij is doorgereden.
Uiteraard het kenteken onthouden en niet al te veel later oom agent op bezoek gehad dankzij een belletje. Bleek een bekende te zijn van de politie die ook nogal losse handjes had, dus werd nog geprezen om m'n conflictvermijdende gedrag. Maar, al met al waren er geen getuigen of beelden, er was geen schade of letsel (los van dat de zijkant van m'n hoofd wat roder is), dus oom agent kan niks doen. Het wordt toegevoegd aan z'n dossier en als er genoeg is kunnen ze misschien wat ondernemen. Dus zeker blijven melden als dit soort dingen gebeuren.
Ik snap werkelijk niet waarom iemand zich zo zou gedragen. Vermoedelijk is er iets mis met de jongeman. Ik hoop dat hij op een of andere manier de hulp krijgt die hij nodig heeft.
Edit: Ik had blijkbaar wél voorrang moeten verlenen en heb een voorrangsfout gemaakt. Dat had ik graag op een andere manier geleerd, maar het zal me niet nog eens gebeuren.
Edit 2: De twijfel slaat toe! Als er een expert is die mij kan vertellen wat de regels in dit geval zijn ben ik u zeer dankbaar. Ter info betrof het een fietsstrook met onderbroken streep, rood asfalt, fietsafbeeldingen en een fietsbord. Heb ik nou een voorrangsfout gemaakt of niet?

Samo zato što ne želim biti u situaciji da ta osoba misli "ovo je neki čudak koji nema život". Moje mišljenje je da gaming još nije "prihvaćen" kao normalna pojava u našem društvu. Je li problem u tome što ja jednostavno previše overthinkam to sve ili je ipak gaming još uvijek previše napredan za naše društvo? Kakva su vaša iskustva / mišljenja?

All the evidence I see for said connection is ‘the similar MOs’ (despite the obvious differences — the victimology of prostitutes does not provide solid enough grounds to make that claim), the proximity of The Fairway and Gilgo Beach, and circumstantial theories often involving Rothschild-esque sex parties with local police and politicians.
My guess is as good as yours — All I can think to believe for certain is that the unsub is/was a middle-aged white man who knows the geography of Long Island and the Western contiguous land extremely well. Long Island + Queens & Brooklyn are heavily populated areas and no stranger to prostitute killers in recent decades; Joel Rifkin, Robert Shulman, Allen Gormely, John Bittrolff (all of these men were incarcerated prior to 2010 besides Bittrolff who was charged with two murders in 2014).
The ‘LISK’ victims were consistent as young, petite, lower-class sex workers who often had histories of physical abuse and drug abuse. The killer offered the victims large sums of money and likely was trusted by them as a high-paying client and possibly respected for his wealth or social status. Melissa Barthelemy, Amber Lynn Costello, Maureen Brainard-Barnes, and Megan Waterman (‘the Gilgo Beach 4’) were all murdered sometime in between the three-four year span of 2007-2010. These bodies were discovered in the search for Shannan Gilbert who finally was reported missing. As a result, Shannan’s disappearance became immediately attached to a specific narrative. More bodies (including the toddler of an unknown victim) were found scattered along Ocean Parkway in the following months. In my eyes; this was likely the work of the same killer.
I believe that the ‘LISK’ was too calculated to have disposed of Shannan Gilbert in the way that she was found. I have read people say the unsub was in a rush and threw her body into the marshland from the highway. Serial killers (especially ones who remain undetected for long periods) are extremely methodical and rarely kill in situations where they would have to be expeditious. We surely must remain skeptical considering how the evidence has been treated and released over the last decade but I firmly believe that the shady nature of Shannan’s death was an isolated incident regarding a separate act of deviant evil (albeit an eerily coincidental one). Feeling a little homesick and down about the state of Malaysian politics. I feel like they're always trying to pit us against one another so here's a little Malaysian feel-good story about my Pak Cik and I.
When I was 3 my parents introduced this Malay man as Pak Cik to me and told me that the company my father works at had assigned Pak Cik as his driver. He was a slightly stout and short man that at the time to me, seemed unfriendly. My memory is hazy since I was so young then but I remember that I was rather afraid of him. I actually didn't see him around very much until I was 7 and I started going to school. That was the true beginning of what would be an unlikely friendship.
Often it was just me and him in the car as he would pick me up from after school activities, then together we would go pick up my dad from work. He'd always try to make conversation but I wouldn't say much since I was shy. That didn't stop him though. He loved telling me stories about just you know whatever was going on in his life, and most importantly the gossip that was going around amongst the drivers (I lived in a condo then so I had all the hot gossip about the neighbours thanks to him). Funniest thing was that he loved to say that my mother loves to 'popek-popek' but he also in fact loves to talk. I think I was a rather lonely child so I loved just hearing him talk all day.
As cliche as it sounds, my parents were very busy people who didn't have much time for me. That included listening to any of my stories. When I tried telling them something it was always "Dad/Mum is very busy right now. Can you tell me later?" Pak Cik would always whisper "Tak pe, nanti, nanti" and then point between the both of us, as if to say he wanted to hear about my stories. I'm sure it was all not very exciting to him at all, my school drama or my thoughts but it meant so much to me that he wanted to listen. Though I was shy by nature, he was the one that encouraged me to be more inquisitive, to always voice how I felt. In many ways, I felt very invisible, both at school and at home. But, when I was in the car with Pak Cik, he made me feel seen, valid, like what I felt or thought mattered. For a kid, with such low self esteem, he was a god-send.
A funny little tidbit is that I also loved singing as a kid and I must say I was definitely no Mariah Carey and I guess that's why my singing would annoy my parents sometimes, so much so that they would tell me to "please stop singing for a moment."

Tad se onda često poseže za religijom, pa ispada da su narodi i narodnosti koji su recimo (većinom) pravoslavni (Srbi i Crnogorci) međusobno bliži u odnosu na Hrvate i Bošnjake. Još bliži bi tako bili i Bošnjaci i Muslimani.
Doduše ovaj članak me natjerao malo da se zapitam. Neki ljudi očigledno prave razliku između ova dva termina. Odnosno za neke je bitno da su Muslimani, a ne Bošnjaci, ili obratno.
Pošto ja ne vidim lično razliku između ova dva etniciteta, barem u Crnoj Gori, može li neko da mi objasni u čemu je ta razlika? Još bolje ako ovdje ima neko ko se izjašnjava ili kao Bošnjak ili kao Musliman. Zašto se baš tako izjašnjavate, a ne suprotno? Da li vidite neku značajnu razliku između ova dva termina, ili je to u biti sve jedno te isto?
