I was digesting the new 20% buy/sell/transfer tax statement for the V1 contract as I’m sure most of you are. Ryan on Twitter, @TheFudHound, put out some recent tweets to clarify that after 8am Pacific time(USA) on December 24th all new buys of V1 will be taxed at 20% and then if an individual transfers or sells that particular new buy of V1 they will be hit with the 20% tax as well.
Here are his tweets: ”This has no affect on people who already hold V1 because these holders only paid 10% - not 20%.”
“Essentially, don’t “purchase” V1 on/after this date - you will pay an extra 10% and even if you migrate you will not get that 10% back.”
And….
“If you purchase #SAFEMOON V1 after this date and then try to migrate, you will only get back 10% - not the full 20%.”
“DON’T chance it. V2 is where the evolution is at now.”
So what this means is that the current V1 holders, including the whales, will essentially have next to non existent V1 trading volume and by extension next to non existent reflection income. But, they won’t be subject to the extra 10% tax either when migrating to V2.
This is good for everybody whether you are on V2 or are on V1 because the V1 holders will eventually make their way over to V2 anyway. The V1 holders that don’t will just be sacrificing their daily reflection income until they manually move over. Some will obviously never be able to manually migrate because they lost their seed phrases.

And also, the Discord price-watch section pricebotV2 for the previous 24 hour update for V2 holders from 4pm Pacific time(USA) and to have access to the “reflections per million tokens” number which is 138.34.
At this point in time with the V1 to V2 migrations I think that unless the V1 whales all migrate within that 4pm to 4pm 24 hour window, I don’t expect there to be any reflection income advantage anymore staying on V1.
I expect the advantage to really skyrocket for the data at 4pm Pacific time(USA) on the 25th and the 26th. This will be the data for after the new 20% tax is implemented on the 24th to discourage the V1 to V2 arbitrage opportunities.
