He sat directly next to a window from which he could get a decent look at King Jon's new Rivergate, which Osmund was to captain for him. He still couldn't quite believe it. Perhaps he just liked the wine. Osmund thought. Regardless of why Osmund had been given command, he still had been, and he had no intention of failing. He mindlessly strummed his lute as he gazed at the Rivergate, all the tiny stone sparrows that covered it's bricks. Osmund still didn't understand Jon's fascination with sparrows. Why not cover it in falcons? He found himself thinking.
Eventually Osmund rose from his seat and carried his lute off for storing, before going outside into the afternoon sunlight. He emerged wearing simple chain, and boiled leather. He figured he'd best try to at least look noble around all these lords and knights, despite Osmund being a knight himself. He got a good look of the Rivergate, then one of his family's Inn. The Rivergate was a taller, and stronger looking. Where as the Inn looked like some whore lords keep without walls. Above the Inn's entrance sat a shield bearing Osmund brand new sigil, Two golden goblets on black, separated by a chequy of red and white. He thought the sigil looked too lordly on the Inn, but Edmund had persisted that a knights keep should bear the family arms. My keep, he thought and what a sight it is.
Osmund made his way around the Inn, talking to whoever came about. He found himself circling the Rivergate soon enough, then he drifted back to the Inn. Osmund went inside, and went upstairs. He promptly removed the chain, and leather he wore, and fell onto his bed. Soon enough he was asleep. When his eyes opened the sun had near set, and most of the men milling about had fallen asleep, he took one last good look at the Rivergate. Might be that thing will survive a siege, but it doesn't have sour wine, and stale bread.
Does anyone knows Sadler's face model ? Because he looks like a lot Isao Katsuragi from Yakuza 4 (comparing picture below), and couldn't find his model on the wiki http://imgur.com/gallery/U1V1XAb
I don't understand how he's able to wander around like he does. I understand he's probably just trying to make a profit, but wouldn't Saddler know about this and eliminate him?
In RE4 there are a wide variety of Las Plagas monsters including the Novistadors, regenerators, El Gigante, and Verdugo. Itβs been stated in lore that the Plaga were heavily modified to allow for such a array of mutations as the plaga werenβt powerful enough on there own for such a task. I think it is possible that Saddler used Progenitor/T-virus samples to enhance his plaga specimens. Has this been confirmed in canon?
βYou done yet?β Osmund chastised his nephew, who was giving the lass from last night the longest kiss Osmund had ever seen. Youth...
Osmund and his men were already outside the gates of the Twins, ready on their horses to depart. They had done their duty Osmund thought, they had arrived and stayed for the wedding out of respect for Mallister, but it was over with. Time to return home.
He gave Benji a whack across his head when the boy finally left the girls side and saddled up beside his uncle. βOi,β Benji said with a flash of youthful anger, Osmund ignoring it, turning his horse around and heading off.
Benjicot would give a shake of his head before riding to his uncles side, the twelve men riding towards home.
Born in A.D. 1037 and became the Count of SΓ©es in the Duchy of Normandy. In A.D. 1066, Osmund accompanied Duke William II in his invasion and subsequent conquest of England. Four years later the now King William I of England appointed him as 'Lord Chancellor of England' and he's instrumental in the early stages of the Domesday Book's creation and was present at its promulgation. In A.D. 1078, Osmund was selected by Pope Gregorius VII to become the new Bishop of Salisbury and was subsequently ordained and consecrated by Arch-Bishop Lanfranc of Canterbury. Osmund's main influences on the English Church were three-fold. Firstly, he ordered the building of a new cathedral which sadly no longer stands. Secondly, was the establishment of a cathedral's structure and hierarchy of persons more in-line with the Norman model used on the European continent. Thirdly, was the creation of a new liturgical rite for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass known as the 'Sarum Use' which's regularly celebrated in southern England until its suppression by the Arch-Bishop Thomas Cranmer of Canterbury in A.D. 1543, during the reign of King Henry VIII. Dying in A.D. 1099, Osmund's body is interred today in the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Salisbury.
Just something interesting I discovered recently. I feel like he should be asking me to go and hear what the Greybeards have to say to me.

#Rats to Riches, House Frey: A History
The birth of Robb Frey to Edwyn and Janyce Frey in 297 AC was a herald of change for the House of the Crossing. Shortly followed by the marriage of Robb Stark and Roslin Frey in 302 AC, the ambition and greed of the ancient Walder Frey was tempered with a union to a King of his choosing. The marriage of Perra Frey to Robin Arryn was another victory for Walder, one that softened his heart in his later years. Lord Walder came to death in 308 AC, living to the ripe age of one hundred, passing in peace with the knowledge that he had secured a future for his house. His funeral was something of a surprise to lords who only knew him from old stories, nobility and family alike praising his name with stories of his kindness in his last decade.
The seat of the Twins passed to Edwyn. Under his surprisingly effective leadership, the Twins saw a strength unbeknownst to Westeros. The vices of Walder Frey did not carry into his heir, Edwyn maturing as he came into his power. Their newfound status in the Kingdom of Winter and their steadfast loyalty made Frey into a powerhouse of the Riverlands. In 314 AC, Robb I Frey found a wife, who shortly gave birth to Edmure in 315.
The Little War - 331 By the time the Iron Bank attacked in 331 AC, Edwyn Frey was a man of sixty-six. Edwyn answered the call of King Stark as his great-grandfather had and marched a garrison to Moat Cailin, holding the towers to protect the Neck and North. Then, King Robb sent word for House Frey to rally House Tully north, much to the dislike of Tully

>"You poor stupid blind crippled fool. Must I spell every little thing out for you? Very well. Cersei is a lying whore, she's been fucking Lancel and Osmund Kettleblack and probably Moon Boy for all I know.
Tyrionβs words cut hard and deep, as Jamieβs inner thoughts through all AFfC will prove. Itβs worth pointing out that while Tyrion is wrong, since heβs basing his accusation according to Varysβ rumors (1), said insinuations aren't completely off the mark. Putting them into context, Varys insinuations make sense: back to ACoK Cersei was trying to make the Kettleblacks her creatures. Osmund promoted to KG, his brothers soon to be knightedβ¦ letβs not forget that Osmund is the one she bargained with since the beginning, given heβs the older of the three.
Curiosity: their meetings back thenβ¦
>In truth, after a brief call at the Great Sept of Baelor, Cersei would don a plain brown traveler's cloak and steal off to meet a certain hedge knight with the unlikely name of Ser Osmund Kettleblack, and his equally unsavory brothers Osney and Osfryd. Lancel had told him all about them. Cersei meant to use the Kettleblacks to buy her own force of sellswords.
β¦arenβt that different from a Cersei and Jaime's one. This is during Tywinβs wake, brown cloak once again.
>Cersei wiped her tears away on a ragged brown sleeve. "Very well. If it is battlefields you want, battlefields I shall give you." She jerked her hood up angrily. "I was a fool to come. I was a fool ever to love you."
Regardless, itβs quite clear that of all the Kettleblacks, Osmund is the one Cersei becomes attached to. This is unsurprising for three reasons:
1 there's no affection whatsoever towards Osney, sex with himis just a bargaining tool (2)
2 Osmund Kettleblak is the one who hangs around Cersei the most, being him Kingsguard (notice that heβs also always around Joffrey, whom he jokes with, and Tommen)
3 Osmund is useful to mock Jaime, as we will see in a bit.
To top it all, given the current KG situation, for Cersei choosing Osmund is almost a necessity: Loras? She hates him. Boros Blount? Same, only to a minor degree. She despises him for having surrendered Tommen. Arys Oakheart is far away and with Jamie is full conflict. Itβs a coin toss between Osmund and Meryn Trant, and GRRM clearly likes to cheat the coin toss for dramatic purposes.

History
The youngest child of Alicent Tyrell and her husband, Victor, of a distant branch of House Tyrell, Osmund was born in 338AC. A sociable and energetic child, Osmund was an early friend and companion of his cousin, Loras, with the two being described as thick as thieves in their younger years.
Like many children, Osmund was obsessed with tales of gallant knights and heroes of bygone eras. From as early as ten years old, Osmund was vocal about his desire to be a knight of the Kingsguard, and it was to this aim that he dedicated his youth. He had a natural athletic build, and through serving as squire to his uncle, Lord Raymund, developed into a strong warrior.
Osmund was knighted by Lord Raymund on his seventeenth nameday. In large part, this was a gift to the young Tyrell and approval for him to pursue his dream. As such, he moved to Kings Landing and became member of the royal court, where he waited an opening in the Kingsguard.
Osmundβs time in Kingβs Landing was not spent productively, however. Osmund did have the determination, but he lacked the flair and mastery required to be appointed to the Kingsguard. In addition, Osmund acquired a number of vices which hampered his development. Alway

The trip to Osmunds Rest had been quite long, and Othello was quite weary as his horse finally began to approach the gates. Fastened at his red horse was his own, unique shield bouncing slightly as he rode. When the Knight and his two companions arrived at the gate, he hailed the guards. Childhood
Osmund Brune was born in the last moon of 337 AC to Gunthor Brune, the Lord of Dyre Den, and his lady wife, Lyarra Pyne. Born as the heir to Crackclaw Point, Osmund received a very stern, but fair upbringing early on from his father, who constantly pushed him hard in an attempt to show him the value of hard work. In his early youth, he accompanied his father on tours around Crackclaw Point to the small villages and holdfasts that dotted the bogs and hills, giving him a great appreciation of the lands he would one day lord over.
At the age of eight, he was sent to be warded at Rosby, serving as a page for Lord Brynden Rosby and eventually a squire, taking well to the war hammer despite his average height and taking especially well to the art of warfare, spending hours training both muscle and mind. Whist at Rosby, he made quick friends with Lord Rosby's quiet son only two years his junior, Rayford. The two would spend hours together running about Rosby as they grew up together.
Knighthood, The Woe of the Wolves, and Marriage
Eventually though, Osmund's time at Rosby drew to a close when he was knighted in 358 AC at the age of nine-and-ten after being deemed ready for the trials of knighthood. After the North declared independence and a war was all but expected, Osmund personally volunteered to join the force led by Lord Robin Penrose north to broker a peace, eventually joining arms with the northerners to fight the King-Beyond-the-Wall, proving his valor in battle before returning home a little more hardened and a little wiser.
Shortly after returning home to Dyre Den, Osmund reacquainted himself with his castle and his people, taking the time to celebrate by travelling the lands around Dyre Den and Maidenpool often, finding a fondness for
