So I picked up the ukulele recently and I’ve been having a ton of fun. I learned one 4/4 time Travis pattern that I use on pretty much everything:
(I don’t know the proper notation but hopefully this is clear.)

Of course the notes change as I hold down chords but it’s always that pattern. I think it comes from a YouTuber named Lana. It’s very lovely.
I’m using it to accompany myself singing the song “Give Yourself to Love” by Kate Wolf. It’s an easy song to play, and I’ve transposed it to C to suit my voice which makes it easier.
I’d really love to dress up the pattern and also make it fit the transitions in the song better so it sounds more unique. Unfortunately I have no idea how to go about this!
Would anyone offer suggestions, either general or tailored to that song? Much thanks!

Seriously, 2 full gambit, vanguard and crucible resets? Yikes, I don’t hate myself THAT much.
IMO it should be: The weapon should go back to being a short quest and then 1 reset of the core activity should get you the ornament.
Alternatively, give the weapon on the first reset of any of the core activities, and the other activities then switch to the ornament on the first reset, instead of giving the weapon again.

Even if they're unshaderable, having the taken effect outside of the dreaming city and without need for queensfoil would be really cool. It's a shame that we don't really get to see it pretty much at all.
Edit: Since there seems to be confusion on using the term "free", it might be better to say "at no ADDITIONAL cost" over what is already paid for the 30th Anniversary pack.
I wouldn't expect it for all exotics but mainly quest exotics, especially iconic or lore heavy ones. Examples being Agers or Hawkmoon having earnable ornaments, but Dead Mans Tale not.
Agers: Although maybe not iconic, it is very heavily tied to lore and holds importance. Would have been nice to have some follow up after acquiring it to "complete" it by earning an ornament.
Hawkmoon: Iconic weapon from D1 that got tied into lore in a pretty big way. Again, a follow up after getting the weapon either via collectables or another quest for an ornament would have been nice.
Dead Mans Tale: The weapon is tied to a lore heavy mission, however the weapon itself doesnt seem to be directly tied to the lore and is just loot we get at the end. Maybe iconic now but at the time of release its reputation couldn't have been known.
I do find it disheartening to do a quest, get an exotic, go to orbit, and get an ad that I can now spend money to change how the weapon looks.
If an exotic is added as a world drop, I wouldn't feel like it would warrant additional steps for an ornament.
Obviously being able to earn any and all exotic ornaments by in-game progress (more than bright dust and waiting for the right week) as something to show off would be nice. As a last note, raid and dungeon weapons should also be included in the category of earnable ornaments. Fingers crossed the Gjallarhorn isn't a one off situation.
