I personally prefer the idea of photojournalism in a perfect world. Practically however, I am wondering which would be the more practical choice as a degree.
Is it even possible to put a roof over your head as a photojournalist anymore?
Hi! Has anyone taken CS2045 Online Journalism before? Am wondering how's the assessment structure like!
I'm currently studying Journalism and Mass Communications in my third year at University of Arizona Global Campus (formerly Ashford University), and while it is cheap, I feel like I'm just not learning anything. Are there any schools that are 100% online (I don't have the means to go to school in-person currently, or anytime in the forseeable future) that are cheap, aren't a joke and wouldn't make employers laugh at me when they see my resume?

I'm looking for a very well made, immersive website. It told a story of a family of Asian immigrants that was traveling inside a crowded ship in the middle of a brutal storm (the story might be a bit different because I came across the site years ago).
The site had a black background and white text + drawings that changed while you scrolled. I think it had the sound of waves crashing, and some sort of animation of the boat that was incorporated in the story. It might have won a prize or two. I really need to find it as soon as possible because I'm working on something similar.
Hi! I’v been interested in BCIT’s journalism programs and I was wondering what it was like to write the assessment prior to applying for the program. Also for those who are/have taken the program, how are you finding/how did you find the program in terms of preparing for a job in the industry?
I’m currently a 2nd year biology student at SFU and I’m considering journalism at the moment.. I’m not too keen on news broadcasting (though I don’t mind trying it out), but I love the concept of storytelling through film and writing, etc. but I’m not too sure how the reality of the industry is. I’ve read that people think the industry is starting to die, but others find good positions in big companies.

It appears NYU launched a new online masters in journalism (info here: https://journalism.nyu.edu/graduate/programs/american-journalism-online-masters/)? As someone who is in the process of researching masters degrees in the field, I’m curious how this one might be perceived in the industry. It’s under NYU’s Journalism institute but being a newer track, I’m hesitant about its merits.

So I usually go to the DEB site to check this. I found an AMITY degree in journalism. It's costs a bomb, not in north plus they tried to sell me the course earlier when they had not yet been given approval to do so.
Do you guys know of such things? All I can see are general BA degrees. I want to try and get a job in the same field but I want to do it simultaneously with studying.

I recently wrote a small handful of articles for basically a clickbait / content mill entertainment website, but I dropped off about a month ago. The agent or manager of a subject I wrote about just emailed me about a not-recent article I wrote about said subject, and they asked if I wanted an interview with said subject, which could potentially include other prominent people as well. The people in question are not unheard of. They aren't A-list Hollywood, but this would be a big deal.
My concern is if I bring it to one of my company managers / leads, the opportunity will be snatched from me, either because I'm basically an underling or because I low-key rotated out of the group of key writers.
On the other hand, I don't know if agents just cast a wide net with things like this? Or is this something the company would have to pay the interviewee for?
I don't know exactly where my hopes should lie in this event, but I do love writing entertainment pieces - just not for these guys. What might my best course of action be here?
