"[Lemon Balm] can ameliorate IBS by modulating VH [Visceral Hypersensitivity] and defecation patterns. Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties along with its effect on the nitrergic pathway seem to play important roles in its pharmacological activity. "

So i have a colony of a. officinalis and i Have noticed they only breed during summer/spring months. No babies at all during winter/autumn. Does yours do the same?
Howdy!
Online many people say i can use the jeanropke rdr collector map to find "Harrietum Officinalis". But for me it's not on there.
My question: have Harrietum Officinalis locations been removed from the site or is it some realy well hidden setting? Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone I want to share my experience with lemon balm tea. I probably developed one of my worst herpes (cold sores) outbreakes ever probably because I partied a bit to hard but the development completely stopped and it just went away when I drank some cups of fresh lemon balm tea from my garden. I developed a triple herpes outbreak at three different locations on my mouth and I was pretty damn scared because normally it always develops at the same place on my lip and not on multiple locations.
I actually started growing lemon balm because I wanted to craft it into a lotion (tincture) to use it for herpes outbreakes. There actually are some scientific studies about it I will link. However I never did it because I forgot about it because I did not get herpes for around one to two years luckily and now the lemon balm just keeps growing like crazy in my garden. :D
So when the herpes developed and it already was visibly developed at three different locations I panicked and started to drink fresh lemon balm tea and I crushed some leaves and put them on my lips too in the beginning.
The development was crazy. The herpes development completely stopped, the itching went away after a short time and it just "went away" in some days without even annoying me because it did not feel like herpes anymore and was just slightly visible after the first day of drinking some cups. I feel like my herpes just skipped most stages and just started curing from the moment I used it.
From now on a cup of lemon balm tea will be part of my daily diet because that stuff tastes delicious anway is healthy in general and grows like crazy.
However Im kind of under placebo and it can be completely random too.
Sorry for my mediocre english it is not my native language.
Have a great day and here are some studies about it:
Melissa officinalis oil affects infectivity of enveloped herpesviruses

Inhibitory activity of Melissa officinalis L. extract on Herpes simplex virus type 2 replication

Do you have any experience with using lemon balm fresh, dried, as a tea, tincture, oil, whatever ? How was it ? :)
This multivitamin contains 200mg of Emblica officinalis extract.
If so, isn't this a bit extreme?
