Hello! I'm looking for a studio near NTU City Campus, for max £150 per week. I've been searching for hours now but either the goods one are booked or it's beyond my budget :( Which websites would you suggest/ avoid? [I'm avoiding CRM and Xenia Students based on their negative reviews]. I've about a month left till my flight, help! Thank you :)

Hi people of Nottingham!
I have been anxious about attending uni for a while now. Because of this I waited a while to accept any offers. I have currently accepted Nottingham Trent as my firm offer and Staffordshire as my insurance, so currently as it stands I'm set to be heading to Nottingham Trent.
I have applied to study Forensic Psychology which unfortunately is not offered at many other places. I got a conditional offer of BBB or 120 UCAS points which I thought seemed fairly reasonable. Not too high and not particularly low (I received a BCC from Staffordshire). However it's only now I'm reading around and I'm hearing mixed reviews about Nottingham Trent. Some people are saying it is seen as easy to get into and known for 'slacking' and a hub for people only wanting to party.
For some context about me, I like to be hard working, I'm quite socially anxious so I'm worried about making friends and partying is not my forte. That being said I do like meeting new people. Rowdy flatmates also tend to stress me out.
Is there anyone who knows a bit about the uni or area (or maybe if you have been there) that could fill me in on what it's like. Any info much appreciated!

I'm a researcher at NTU and we're looking to recruit drivers in Nottingham for a new study we're running.
What’s it about?
We are investigating the effectiveness of using a Virtual Reality system to present a hazard perception test in 360°.
What do I have to do?
You will be invited into the laboratory at NTU (City Campus) for 40 minutes, where you will fill out some short questionnaires and then watch a short video clip from the driver’s perspective in both virtual reality and on a normal computer screen.
Sounds great.. What’s the catch?
No catch! We’ll even give you £10 in amazon vouchers for your time.
Any requirements and how do I sign up?
We are looking for both learner drivers and experienced drivers (who have passed their test at least 3 years ago).

Hi, is anyone one doing a PhD at Nottingham Trent, specifically in the School of Science and Technology? Was wanting to know what do you think of the place in terms of research output, quality, facilities and other things related to PhD research within the University?
Hello! I will be doing a European Project Semester from October to January. I'm looking for a cheap basic gym for these 4 months. Any recommendations? Doesn't need to be anything fancy, maybe something with longer opening hours since I don't know my schedule yet.
What about contracts? How long/short is typical for gyms in that area?
