I loved Lumia it was my first phone and I was so mesmerised that the next model I brought was of Lumia too but unfortunately Lumia looks like a gone cause for Nokia (at least in my country, not sure about rest).
hi, i'm trying to transfer photos from a (very) old nokia lumia to my mac. so far i've tried: dropbox (app crashes after entering my login credentials), onedrive (login fails, no idea why), usb cable + nokia photo transfer (phone not detected). any ideas? thanks in advance.

I just found my gf's old Lumia and wondered what OS (preferably some kind of Linux or Android) runs fairly well on it to make it usable again! I am pretty experienced with Linux so a complicated installation process does not scare me. Thank you guys in advance!
I used a offline updator to update to Windows 10. However It gave “:(“ face while updating. When I open it, it gives ever time that face. I tested some methods by clicking on volume buttons but it didn’t work. It is nice if you can help me.
From windows 8.1 all the way to a unofficial 1709 install,ive not been able to enable tethering despite it being a part of my plan. VoLTE and IMS is fine,but not Mobile Hotspot. I'm assuming its using a tethering apn,which is boost.tether on my carrier,is there a way for me to change it to the correct one? perhaps via a registry key?
What should I do with it? So far it only has some old contacts, old photos, RainbowMod (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-rainbowmod-2-2-for-lumia-800-updated-04-08-2013.1665651/) and that’s about it
So I'm not home to be able to mess with my Nokia Lumia 1020 but I would like some help if possible for when I get home or have some time to be able to troubleshoot. I just thought of looking here for possible support and it's been a long while since I've tried fixing it. I believe I got my Nokia Lumia 1020 back in 2014/2015 and at the time I enjoyed being a Windows Preview Insider but at some point it bit me in the keister. An Insider Update I think around 2015/2016 ended up bricking my device and a few times I tried a couple things on getting it to work again but they failed. Is there anyone here who may have some ideas on what I can try to do to get it out of its bricked state? Any suggestions would be helpful
