Muspell Puns

Maybe Muspell was based the whole time.

He's not Fjorm, for sure, but he's been appearing quite a lot.

In fact I think aside from the Askr trio and Fjorm, the OCs who appear there the most are Eir, Ylgr, Peony, and Helbindi.

I've been trying for a L! Sigurd on the mythic banner but managed to pull 2 Muspells. I already had one from his original banner and was wondering if merging is a good idea. Any advice?

Explosions were nothing new in the Order of Heroes. On any given day, the spellcasters, magi, and even the dragons were wont to release some manner of magical havoc. It had gotten so bad that certain spellcasters – a young empress in particular – were forbidden from practicing magic unsupervised. What was, however, particularly noteworthy about today’s explosion wracking the castle was the accompaniment of screams.

Screams loud enough to pierce through three layers of solid stone and reach the Summoner in his secluded office. Will jumped to his feet, driven almost by instinct at this point to run towards the door. Fjorm, Princess of Nifl, was a step behind him, her teacup still rattling on the saucer. Fjorm suddenly faltered at the door, stumbling slightly as she clutched her chest. “Fjorm!” Will caught himself, one leg swung up in a comical pose as he turned to help the Princess.

“I feel…” Fjorm muttered, fingers digging into the soft fabric of her dress. “Cold,” she looked up at the Summoner, shaking her head. She pushed to her feet. “I’ll be fine…I think. Come on, we’ve got to go see what’s going on.” The pair hurried through the maze-like halls, towards the sound of combat. The waves of heat grew more intense the further down they ran, feelings of hot and cold battering his body as the air around Fjorm grew colder. Frost patterns spread over the walls and under their feet, Will hastily steadying himself on the suddenly slippery stairs. “How convenient,” Fjorm said, breathing easily as they rounded the final corner, towards the east training room. “That something should happen the day that Alfonse and Sharena are sent to Nidavellir.”

“I know, right?” Will scowled, pulling off his bulky jacket as the heat grew more intense. “If my life were a book, I’d be writing a sternly written note to the author right about now. This sort of convenient timing is only as annoying as a character suddenly coming back to li--- Oh.”

The words died on his lips as they rounded the corner, turning into the room. A few Heroes stood around the perimeter of the room, weapons drawn and pointed at the intruders. Closest to the pair, leaning against the doorframe as if she didn’t have a care in the world Loki lounged with a relaxed grip on her staff, smiling widely as the Summoner and Fjorm skidded to a halt, facing the newcomers – one whose face had been indelibly burned into the Summoner’s memory.

Grants Atk+3. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit during combat and foe cannot recover HP during or after combat. If unit's HP ≥ 25% at start of combat, after combat, if unit attacked, inflicts【Deep Wounds】on target and foes within 2 spaces of target. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res.

Edit: Apparently, he is red calvary dragon.

I initially thought that Muspell's C skill wasn't that good but after using it, I may have misjudged it slightly. Most tanks tend to have lower res over defense so it does way more true damage than I thought. He's even more broken with a brave vantage user (W!Altina, Laslow).

What do you guys think of him?

Nifl’s C skill is Joint Drive Spd, Res, and first enemy hit damage reduction. Muspell’s C skill is Joint Drive Atk, Def and first player hit damage boosting. Pair them up and they grant +4 to all stats, damage reduction, and damage boosting to each other (or, if they’re adjacent to each other, any ally adjacent to one of them) during combat.

Nothing super groundbreaking, just thought it was funny.

See title. If you are having trouble with Merlinus' Heroic Ordeal, Muspell's Rally Atk Up+ and his C-Slot allow him to deal damage while Muspell protects him from F!Corrin and Ike.

With how unique Nilf and Muspell look I have theory that IntSys wasn't just randomly having character design whiplash. FEH in particular can get wild but OC character designs are all usually always solid. Even fairies and dudes in punk gear manage to look natural around other fire emblem characters. However Muspell and Nilf look far more simplistic and oddly /modern/. I mean one is wearing loose pants with a costume-looking cape and the other is wearing a simple dress with gloves. Its strange considering other characters from those countries (that were named after them btw) don't wear anything like it and I feel like this was done with these specific characters for a reason.

My theory is those two came from our world (summoner's world). Perhaps a teen delinquent and singer/celebrity ended up in what would become Nilf and Muspell, somehow gained godhood + dragon forms. Throw in some memory loss too, because the both of them seem frustrated and low key mentally unstable. This could explain why the midget witch is expirementing on Fafnir too, kidnapping and turning him into an artificial dragon or why book 2 became relevant again during book 5 all of a sudden.

I might be giving this mobile game too much credit but thats my theory

edit: on closer expection muspell kinda looks like a boxing champion with his loose pants, cape and hood on his damaged art, and hands permenantly engulfed in flames like gloves

Because I personally am tired of this arc and want to go back to the days where they used TT+ to expand the seasonal event. Like remember that 3H Summer banner whose paralogue was all about the girls, but then the TT+ gave the boys something to do? Imagine they did something like that with, for example, this Halloween banner that has both Rhea and Sothis and does absolutely nothing with it.

Not helped that Muspell is a one-dimensional manchild and Nifl is very unpleasant overall.

Since Nifl was released in a new heroes banner on July, there is a possibility that IS would do the same thing with Muspell and merge him with a bunch of heroes from a FE game. IIRC, there are at least 4 games that may have an upcoming banner coming soon.

I honestly hoped TMS gets a banner, since it is possible that they can add three heroes. I really hope awakening doesn't get picked again because it would have meant they have gotten shafted twice by OC units. What are your thoughts or maybe I'm wrong and he'll be the new Mythic?
