A list of puns related to "Moluccans"
Iβm really hoping someone can help me. I rescued a male Moluccan almost 2 years ago. He was ten when I got him. He was surrendered Bc the owner couldnβt spend time with him and he started plucking. His chest feathers still havenβt grown back. He hasnβt plucked since Iβve gotten him. I am is his preferred human. He displayed aggressive behavior towards my husband and kids whenever they would physically come near me, never at me. However this past month he has been attacking me, with a vengeance. If he bites someone else, it would just be a quick bite. When he bites me, he doesnβt release. He has pierced me several times. Iβm fairly certain the last time he attacked me was Bc the dog sat next to me. Any advice would be appreciated
Background: I was born in Jakarta Indonesia to an African American father and East Indonesian mother. My African American side primarily has African ancestry with mixes of European, but we identify as Black. My mother side is from Ambon island in Maluku which is primarily Pacific Islander Melanesian/Austronesian mix compared to the prominent West Asian Indonesian ethnic groups. My family there are also considered "Black" people in Indonesia since they are from islands that border New Guinea Island. Actually due to history of separatism and colonialism a good chunk of my Moluccan family is in the Netherlands. Also, for kickers I grew up in Los Angeles nearly entirely around Latinos from Mexico and Central America. So I speak Spanish. I also am learning Arabic.
One of my best friends committed suicide on Tuesday. One of the things he planned to do was to adopt an older cockatoo and give it a good home. He would say he wanted to do this so he would not support the illegal pet trade, that was really important to him. He mentioned specifically the βbig white cockatoosβ. He said he would never clip a birdβs wings as theyβre meant to fly free. And now heβs free too, but I wish he was here. I want to get a tattoo to commemorate him and Iβd like to get a footprint of a Moluccan cockatoo, among other things, I guess sort of a small piece of his dreams and plans (I really love birds myself also and was excited to meet his parrot!) Later, when Iβm settled and not moving as much for work id like to have a pet bird again and name it after him. Iβm not sure the pictures on google are accurate as they just say stuff like βparrot footprintβ. If someone can help me check to make sure, I would have many thanks!
Also, he worked with exotic animals like lizards and snakes and he loved all life. I miss him so much.
