#"Japanese assets prepared to withdraw, Arab League Ambassador summoned" ~ Says Minister of Foreign Affairs
The Asahi Shimbun | Issued January 1st, 2049 - 12:00 | Tokyo, Japan
TOKYO - After a surprise issuing of new border-control policies without any warning to the Empire of Japan, the Imperial Ministry for Foreign Affairs alongside the Imperial General Headquarters has confirmed that "The Imperial Japanese Military would not be allowing any existing personnel or nationals in Arab League territories to be subject to ongoing border policy." The policy in question is of course the unannounced requirement for biometric ID among other restrictions placed upon many nations around the globe, including the Empire of Japan. This was something which came as a serious surprise to the Japanese public, not only for the fact the policy was put in place unannounced but also that the Arab League would even consider it necessary to collect biometric data on Japanese soldiers. The full policy can be seen below,
>Citizens of orange-listed nations are requested to provide biometric data upon arrival, and are not subjected to any curfew. Depending on their visa status, they may need to check in at a visitor centre every week and their are not subjected to movement restrictions. Orange listed countries may have visa-free status, which would preclude the need to extend a visa, or may need one in which case they would need to extend it every 2 weeks. Orange-listed nations do not have the cash restriction or additional in depth verification.
>Individuals directly invited by the government from orange listed countries will naturally present passports with biometric ID, but would not be subject to the same weekly check in and visa extension requirements. This would also translate to embassies of those nations as well as those forming part of military alliances.
The policy which was only discovered when soldiers living on-base at various locations across the Arab League (in bases built and paid for by the Empire) where asked for biometric data ID from border officials, has come as a shock. The Imperial General Headquarters and more specifically the Second Imperial Army likewise confirmed that save for a handful of soldiers who where initially confronted, no other Japanese personnel have han

#"Italy would be better off under Γlfheimr rule." ~ Says Minister of Foreign Affairs as Illegal Italian seizure of Japanese assets goes public
STATE RELEASE | Issued July 1st, 2043 - 12:00 | Tokyo, Japan
TOKYO - A major statement has come out of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs following revelations that Italy had illegally nationalized a major Japanese foreign assets including Hitachi Rail Italy a formal subsidiary under the direct ownership of Hitachi Rail (Japan). The seizure which was never communicated to Japan via Italy's new direct SPS access-line (Γlfheimr) came as a direct shock when it was announced in various Italian press-papers over the past month, including one direct statement.
>"built by Hitachi Rail Italy, to be nationalised under Leonardo" ~ Report from 14th December, 2042
With Hitachi Rail (Japan) and the broader government of the Empire having never approved said rail-program via it's Hitachi Rail Italy company, nor with any communication from Italy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was notably furious during the press conference. The seizure/use of Hitachi Rail Italy being seen as a direct attack and insult to the Empire of Japan, flying directly in the face of noted and extremely public Japanese foreign policy around illegitimate and illegal seizure. In particular, the action has been tantamount to an act of war or provocation leading to war, as outlined under the following legal policy,
>"On Nationalization of Japanese Assets, Companies, and Commercial Operations: Any such nationalization will be considered an act of war or of provocation leading to war unless such nationalization occurred after negotiations as part of an agreed settlement as negotiated by Japan and the Country attempting to nationalize assets."** ~ Current Japanese Legal Policy on Nationalization
In the formal statement delivered by Jacqueline Reid the current Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry very clearly outlined its extreme anger towards what has been a direct attack on the Japanese economy by the Italian government. The s

The Asahi Shimbun | Issued January 1st, 2047 - 12:00 | Tokyo, Japan
TOKYO - After nearly two years of inaction on the part of the Nusantara League, the Imperial Minister for Foreign Affairs has in a shocking statement declared the "Mandate for a Fifth Member of the League" to be a "failed one". The Nusantara League and Empire of Japan which have always shared a close relationship as allies within the Pacific have at times had a frayed relationship, with trials and tribulations. However the inaction by the League in securing, handling, or otherwise resolving it's mandate in Southern China has after two years forced the hand of the Empire who has waited patiently to see the League resolve the growing crisis. Yet with gangs and starvation still growing massively across the once "League-assigned Southern China" and not a single Nusantara deployment to speak of, it would seem like the Empire of the Midnight Sun has been left with no other alternative.
As such, the Imperial General Headquarters at the behest of the Imperial Diet and Cabinet has confirmed the extension of existing deployments to cover all of China's Pacific coastline. With new mission-sets from as far south as Hainan to the most northern portions of Guangdong, the Empire of Japan who has requested GIGAS assistance in this effort, has made clear that toleration for inaction is at zero insofar as the League is concerned. Concerns that League inaction have hampered southern China to a lethal degree have not gone unwarranted, as initial estimates have placed death tolls at upwards of 50% in some parts of Guangdong and the various river-deltas which have all flooded and received no aid from its prior "organizer" [League].
Political analysts suspect that the INC will be the recipient of much of the League's prior Mandate, with leaked maps from within the Imperial General Headquarters displaying various mixed operation zones of Japanese and INC forces, while the actual province

Azerbaijan liberated its lands from occupation at the expense of the blood and lives of its martyrs.Β As President Ilham Aliyev noted, Azerbaijan, which has more than 100,000 soldiers, does not need mercenaries.
Surprisingly, no such accusations were made by Iran during the war, and there was no cause for concern until a new government came to power after the war.
The anti-Azerbaijani campaign will not benefit Iran.Β It is known that the reasons for these baseless accusations are the prevention of illegal entry of Iranian trucks into the territory of Azerbaijan and the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from occupation.
Our advice to those who want to look for terrorists is to take a good look around them.Β Recall that in October last year, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry provided the diplomatic corps in the country, including the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with information on the participation of Armenian mercenaries in the fighting in the then occupied territories." - Leyla Abdullayeva said.
