A list of puns related to "Mike Mccready"
Which song is Mike McCreadyβs Masterpiece?
I noticed that a lot of people seem to dislike or even hate Mike McCready. I really dig his playing altough i agree that it isn't anything groumdbreaking. Also his playing is similar to John Frusciante, both got that strong Hendrix vibe and thats what i really love about them.
Just finished listening to the track by track breakdown of βTenβ by Stone Gossard and Mike McCready being interviewed by Cameron Crowe. It was very interesting and insightful and I definitely really enjoyed it! Highly recommend this or any of the other special Pearl Jam programs on SiriusXM. Itβs available on demand on the app so you can listen to it whenever you want. Special SiriusXM Pearl Jam Programs
I have always wanted to hear mike mccready's side project BUMRUSH with popeye khan from MW radio. He played a few shows in 1995 and there are recordings that exist. LMK
Hey reddit, hope everyoneβs staying safe and sane out there. We (along with Eddie, Jeff and Matt) released our 11th studio album Gigaton last week and are incredibly humbled by everyoneβs response to it so far.

And with that, time to answer as many of your questions as we can! See you at 4pm PT / 7pm ET!
EDIT: Thanks everyone. This was an extremely rewarding experience for us. Thanks for all your questions and it would be cool to do this again sometime soon.
Hey! Does anybody know what was Mike's gear being used in this particular live performance of "Nothing as It Seems" (starts at 2:04)? I'm interested in both solo-part and that cosmic-delay ending. Go back to 0:16 if you want to hear solo part better, and skip to 5:11 if you want to hear that cosmic part better.
I think it's an overdrive, maybe some reverb and of course a delay, but I can't figure it out with my Maxon OD808, Flashback 2 and Hall of Fame 2.. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Postscriptum. Live tone is quite different from the record in my opinion so I wouldn't base on what you hear on a record.

Yesterday, Mike tweeted a picture of his dad Roy McCready in front of an F4 Phantom on the deck of an aircraft carrier.
I searched a bit and found out that he flew in Vietnam. He was based aboard USS Kitty Hawk . In 1968 crashed due to mid air colision with another plane and was rescued shortly by Search And Rescue team after his ejection :

#44 Mike McCready/Pearl Jam - Alive solo https://youtu.be/SkZRJHDp-M8
Hey all! It's late, gotta go to bed. Just threw this solo down in the past hour. Thought I'd hammer it out and get it up and posted before bed. Just a killer solo. Long and so much fun to rip on. Improvised a bit here and there with this one for a change but tried to hit all the notable key moments in the solo at the same time. Great fun! Love this one.
Hope all is well with you guys and gals. Thanks as always for checking out the solos and my progress on the list. You guys are awesome.
Cheers, K
