A list of puns related to "Marque"
The Pixel 6/6 Pro have been yet another victim of endless negative press since it launched, but this closely aligns with how much negative press almost every pixel phone has received since... maybe the Pixel 2. So it was not entirely surprising when Marques' tweet about ditching his P6P for a S21U blew up (along with every other subsequent tweet/article written about Marques' decision).
Here are the specific reasons Marques cited for giving up on his P6P.
Marques ended the segment by stating that the Pixel 6 is a great phone for the price, but the 6 Pro is not, because of its price.
I'll fully admit that I'm bummed Marques isn't happy with his Pixel 6 Pro, as his original endorsement of it felt like a confirmation that I had made a good purchase.
Obviously, YMMV.... but as someone who bought the 6 Pro and has been using it since launch, I honestly cannot say I've noticed like 90% of these bugs on my phone. But also, even if I DID experience these same bugs, I don't think I'd be as fast to pull the sim card out and switch to a different phone.
It might also be worth noting that Marques comes from a position of privilege in that he has pretty much one of every phone at his disposal, so I'd imagine it's very easy for him to just say, "hmm, let's use a different phone today". This surely is not the case for 99.99% of mobile phone users.
But also, maybe this should serve as a reminder to me that no one individual's review should be the be-all, end-all.
My one request (if I were to be so bold) would be for Marques to follow up on the Pixel 6 Pro in future months, should these bugs get addressed with future updates. He's got an undeniably massive pull in the tech review industry and a "follow up" just feels like it would be the right thing for him to do. So often we see the headlines about where phones fall short, maybe because it brings in a ton of traffic/clicks/views. But we certainly don't see the headlines highlighting when a company paid attention to bugs and fixed said bugs through software updates.

Hello Air France !
Does anyone have any information on her “Missing Marques?”

A "sickening sight" with a "list to the port" and "sails in rags" that requires constant pumping to stay afloat, to be precise -- with predictable results, namely getting sunk in one shot by an American merchant vessel. Were letters of marque really granted to vessels with such a low chance of success? Could any fisherman -- royalist or separatist -- really get their hands on one?
EDIT: Gah, "see serious naval action." At least it's an innocuous Freudian slip.
