A list of puns related to "Mail Delivery Agent"

Has anyone ever filled out one of these things? I already googled and YouTubed but didn't find good guidance on how to do these. Sorry if this is dumb but I'm new to business law stuff and my client needs one done for her matter. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Hi everyone!
For some time now I had been looking for a better tool for my local mail delivery and filtering needs (I was previously using procmail). In the end I went with a completely different approach by creating the mda crate to help me write custom Rust programs to perform all the typical MDA tasks (delivery, matching, filtering etc).
I have written a post with more information about how mda-rs came to be, some considerations that affected the design and implementation, and a performance comparison against other tools.
The code is at https://github.com/afrantzis/mda-rs.
I have been using mda-rs myself for several weeks now, and I hope some of you will find it useful, too!
I live in a scheme with junkies all around and the postman leaves my expensive delivery on my doorstep in full view of everyone. Absolute miracle I got home to it still being there!
Just spoke with some neighbors and there has been no mail delivered this entire week (I'd say 'all year', but that sounds too dramatic). Calls to the Post Office say they are short staffed due to covid, understandably, but an entire week without mail?
One neighbor signed up for the delivery alerts and has been receiving them daily, yet no postman has been here.
I can understand missing a day or two, but there have been at least 5 delivery days missed. That means bills, medicines, and other notices have not been delivered.
Anyone else? We're in the 43224 zipcode.
Edit: Just got a Sunday delivery of a half-dozen letters. Neighbor says he got only what the informed delivery said would arrive Thursday (not the previous days). At least it is something. Appreciate the efforts of the workers under these conditions. Would have been nice if the PO was informing people of this, rather than everyone having to complain to them first.
In my old town I could only rely on DPD. This is very refreshing
I currently stock at wal mart for 17$ and used to long days, Iβm looking to switch is it worth it?
This story takes place over the past 10 days or so.
My wife and I run a small farm/homestead/apothecary and we sell some of our products on Etsy. 99.5% of the orders go fine. Sometimes there's an issue. And some of that time, it's a Karen.
One of the items we sell is a very short book that I wrote to accompany some of our products. Don't get too impressed... it's quite short, self-published, etc. But its a good companion at our farmers' market booths, etc. About 10 days ago I was sitting at my desk and Karen ordered said book. Since all I have to do is grab a copy, stick it in a padded envelope, print a shipping label, and go, I did it on the spot.
3 days later I get an Etsy message saying that the tracking info says her order is delivered but she doesn't have it and the whole thing seemed too quick to be "real" or something to that effect. I check the tracking on my side and see the same thing, delivered. I tell her I'm sorry, ask her if its possible it was delivered somewhere near by, and tell her we'll work together to get it right. I also know that sometimes carriers will mark stuff "delivered" and then actually deliver it the next day. I get it - they're monitored too. But I thought that might be the case here.
I then go out of town for business and proceed to not only get 4 more Etsy messages but she then opens a support case, not with USPS but with Etsy. Mind you at this point, I have technically fulfilled my part of things but I do want to help her. She also said something about checking with roommates, which makes me think of another potential issue... Meanwhile she is still direct messaging me. I'm mostly ignoring it, if I file a claim with the USPS they will tell me she has to do it, so there's really nothing for me to do and since I'm on a work trip I'm just not dealing with her. But of course I see every notification on my phone.Well within 10 minutes of the case being opened, ETSY closed it saying the tracking shows delivered.
At this point I decide the $7 I will make from this is not worth it so I issue a full refund and cancel the order. I also include a note saying that any future orders would be declined and refunded before shipping. Well that only precipitated more messages. Which still got no response. Fortunately Gmail lets you preview the Etsy chat without showing the user you read it.
Then I get the final message. Root cause discovered. Karen, in her flurry of drunken shopping for handmade goodies, had MOVED and did not u
... keep reading on reddit β‘Wikipedia says the home address system was invented in Britain in the 1800s. Maybe OUR system was, but surely, in massive ancient cities like Nanjing (over 4 million people in year 400!), they must have had some sort of system? If you came to a new city how would you find your friend's house? How was postage addressed?
I was interested in running a low-power home server in order to control my own MTA and MDA.
However, there are various webpages that warn that it is not easy to run your own mail server, e.g.:
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/why-you-may-not-want-to-run-your-own-mail-server
which links to several HOWTOs at the bottom.
How many people on this subreddit run their own mail servers (i.e. MTA and MDA)?
Why YSK, this time of year and even more so this year (at least in the United States as far as I know), the mail and package services are completely overwhelmed. This means your mail carrier and package delivery people including companies like Amazon even are working long hours and are on a strict timeline, and may even get extra work thrown on them if they complete their work quick enough and not really be given notice/time to prepare. Plus they can't exactly carry and bunch of food/drinks (especially in cities) to last all day. Doing small things like leaving a bottle of water in the mailbox (marked for them, otherwise they may not take it due to a fear of theft claims) or a cooler even clearly marked "help yourself delivery people" can make a huge difference in their day.
My mom worked mail delivery for years and she always would point out the houses with glee as we drive through our small town that she remembered would have a bottle of water or snack waiting for her even when she was just a sub, as in didn't even have a set route every workday. When she got a set route some customers would even go as far as leaving her home made cookies and gift cards for coffee or lunch occasionally.
TLDR; Appreciate the people who even though are just doing their job, still keep doing it even when it's not even what they signed up for. You may just be another house if you don't, but you will probably be a highlight of a strangers day if you do and in today's world we need more of that!
Edit; if you are someone delivering please say what country/area of the country/service and what would help you whatever time of the year and any rules you have to follow to accept anything. About to go to sleep, but when I wake up sometime tomorrow I will edit again and add a list as best I can for anyone trying to set up care packages! Obviously water and snacks, but based off a comment I realized I've got a bunch of cheap shake to activate hand warmers that could really be nice for someone out all day. I also know some companies have policies where "helping themselves" could be reported in today's day and age so we could avoid it being a worry I'd like to know how! :) Have a good night/day everyone!
We havenβt had any mail delivered since Dec 23. Iβve had a package sitting in the Richmond distribution center since Dec 27 with no updates. Weβre in the Cambie Village area.
Iβm in London and Iβve seen a mail carrier once this week, twice last week. I know everywhere is short staffed right now but Iβm surprised Canada Post hasnβt addressed what is a fairly essential service.
This makes it really easy to know what is supposed to be in your mail, and if you have packages arriving that day.
Is anybody else not receiving mail in the City? I am in the Vainer neighborhood behind Wilson Ave Public School - I haven't received any mail since the new year and my security cameras haven't been triggered by any mail delivery person walking by my house in weeks. I called the Canada Post contact centre and was told they could not provide any additional information...
I'm a newer agent still in my first year of the business. I'm planning for 2022 and have heard decent things about DM and from my research it appears to have good results and takes consistency with good info on the mailer.
If you are a season agent and do not recommend Direct Mail Marketing, besides cold calling(already doing) what would you recommend to focus on?
Tia!
This is the story of Vanessa, based on Sister Location, Pizzeria Simulator, Help Wanted, Curse of Dreadbear, Special Delivery and Security Breach, also addressing Elizabeth Afton and Charlotte Emily.
Vague notes before we begin:
This post will by large go into Vanessa based on things I am more certain of, but before that I want to just mention some notes that might be related to this but that I haven't analyzed as deep, therefore they can be taken with a grain of salt.
Note #1: I do not intend to get deep into Charlotte Emily, Michael Afton or crying child in this one, but I am drawn to the idea that Charlotte Emily is possessing Glamrock Freddy. Neither will I go into the thing that Princess is called Cassidy in the gamefiles. I should point out though, that the one thing Vanny and Cassidy (Golden Freddy) have in common, is that they both appear like a glitch while the Princess also appears golden.
Note #2: In a Monty's Gator Golf Easter Egg itβs suggested the 55th Anniversary of something have happened. According to E-mails Vanessa is 23 years old and her birthdate is 1997 which means the year 2020. If those 55 years are the anniversary of the Family Diner, then the first was started in 1965. Not surprising considering the aesthetic in Pizzeria Simulator is very 60βies.
Now Vanessa
We learn most about Vanessa from her therapy sessions (16 CDs in Security Breach), through the e-mails (Special Delivery), and some through the fazwatch messages. (A thanks to Gamerpillar, Been here way too long and AdamtheLegoMan and all the rest adding to this info).
To set something straight first; the CDs should be played in order where the last 2 digits are the session number (1,3,5,7,9,10,11,12,2,4,6,8,13,14,15,16). Up to session 46 they are categorized with number 71. After Vanessa transfer they are categorized as 46. There are 26 missing sessions between CD 12 and CD 2.
βVanessa Aβ (initials learned from her e-mails) was born 1997 (birthdate from her e-mails) and she is 23 years old (also hinted by the emails). She actually had a happy childhood with great parents (CD#16).

... keep reading on reddit β‘Bullish on express delivery. German ape here myself and I am awaiting my first letter this week, maybe next week. It would be great news for international apes. OP for the news on our spielstopp-sub is u/ItsMe-Steve
Can anyone else confirm this message from ComputerShare?
Wouldn't it be bullish news if GameStop took care of the fees?
Can I has express MOASS pls?
Anyway... Hodl. DRS. Buy. Vote. And stay zen.
Edit: even the comments show conflicting information. Is it pure luck? Nobody knows. Maybe a question for the next Computershare AMA?!
Edit2: u/itsme-steve messaged me, because he can't comment: "I'm afraid my comment was blocked again. Here's the copy pasta: I'm still pondering about that to be honest. I had told her, that I wanted to get the verification code via express (as I did with my first letter). She said that GameStop will waive the fees as regular mail take 5 to 7 weeks anyway. Not more than that.
I was quite surprised and thought that I misunderstood which is why I asked whether I should read her my CC details or if she could use them from the first transaction. All good, I'm supposed to receive the tracking info by mail and she repeated my address. Still haven't received it, though.
From the comments, I get mixed information."
Edit3: Steve has received his CS letter, the days later, without paying extra.
