I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Punjab has become a hotbed of negative political events for more than a year now and it looks like it has come to jeopardize national security.
The farmers protests and the alleged involvement of Khalistani elements along with the international outcry was a massive concern until the Farm Laws were repealed by the Parliament. Unfortunately, it looks like Punjab is still having a tough time, which is concerning for national security.
The attempt of sacrilege in the Golden Temple was a condemnable event that took place but unfortunately, with problems of sacrilege and blasphemy, the problem does not end soon. This even will cause insecurity in the minds of the Sikhs and unless the Government investigates and defuses the public anger over the alleged acts of sacrilege, it has a chance of descending into communal tensions. Potential communal tensions have always haunted India's national security and having such tensions in a border state does not make things easier.
Moreover, the recent explosion in the Ludhiana District Court shows that whether coincidental or planned, there is disturbance of public peace, especially before an election which may force our political heads to look inwards at the domestic mess and may affect our guard in protecting national security interests.
Though Punjab has not descended into a unstable mess yet nor is it a sign of 'breakdown of constitutional machinery' for imposing President's Rule in the State, but it will remain a case to observe because India's national security interests, have nearly always been compromised due to a domestic mess we create. Examples range from the Battle of Plassey in 1757 to the Sino-Indian War in 1962.
So optimistically, it should not reach that stage but even a movement in the direction of instability should be very concerning.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
