The tourney had been everything Lucinda had dreamed it would be even as it all came crashing down behind them. Ill omens lingered in the shadows of the Rock. The lioness was not one to dwell on darkness, although when she closed her eyes she could still see the horror of the screaming horse. The poor thing had died so horrifically, so tragically, it conjured deep chills on her skin. She had known the rider, Ser Walder, and was certain that the absence of the steed would be felt.
It was a shame that not only had he lost glory, but a companion as well. Her heart ached to make the bad situation right and so a letter was penned to be delivered to the heir of Hag's Mire while he still dwelt in the hospitality of the Rock.
A letter was penned in elegant sprawling fashion. Each letter embellished in a loving calligraphy, as was the nature of the young lady.
Dear Ser Walder Nayland,
I would be remiss if I did not take the time to you that you did quite well in the tourney. Victory was not to be had, but you displayed quite a strength that would make your kin proud. I would also like to express my deepest sympathies for what I imagine to be a very great loss.
Please allow me the honor of your company at Lannisport in the next day or so. I have a gift in mind to perhaps leave you with fond memories of Casterly Rock and Lannisport by extension.

The letter was handed off to a page in service to her brother, along with a small handful of small invitations to a tea party. The letters were to be delivered as Lucinda and her small party departed Casterly Rock with Aubrey to begin fulfilling Gerion's orders. Lucinda was certain that she would return to the Rock after only a few short days. There was still business yet to attend and stories yet to be resolved. For now however, there was much fun to be had.

A book was turned under her arm and she lazily turned the pages as she scratched Titan's ears. Behind her Cerenna sat brushing her own dark locks, a red ribbon laid across her lap in which she would later braid her hair into.
Redfern strummed away at his lute, playing Six Maids in a Pool. He still hadn't found the words to the song Aubrey had requested and it was eating him up inside.
"Play The Bear and The Maiden Fair," Ser Reynard requested. He held aloft in his hand a rose that he had begun to pluck the petals from. His armor was absent today, instead he dressed casually, his sword was buckled at his side.
"Right," Redfern replied sulkily. He had not been happy about the return of the tourney knight.
"Go on then, Redfern," Lucinda yawned as she turned a page.
"Come now, Redfern, it's a great song!" Reynard cheered as he plucked another petal.
Redfern ceased playing and touched the blanket that they had spread on the ground to keep the dirt from their nice clothes. He sighed and nodded his head, resigning himself to the next tune. "Everyone and their mother sings this one at taverns, but if I must," Redfern replied and began to strum the song.
"A bear there was, a bear, a bear…" Redfern sang.

“My lady,” he began searching for the right words that would not turn her mood sour. “Surely we might hasten our journey home, lest we miss out on the mummer’s shows. Last I heard there was to be a grand performance of the romance and tragedy of two feuding households.”
Cerenna, who had been drawing the scenery on a scroll of parchment, slowed the frantic pace of her hand and raised an eyebrow as she peered over her work - eager to observe the aftermath.
Lucinda ignored her bard for a moment and instead popped the grape into her mouth. The fruit burst under the pressure of her molars, coating her tongue in juices both sweet and tart. She chewed quietly, her now free hand reaching down to run her fingers through the mane of her exotic pet. She fancied that she could hear Titan purr mightily under her finger tips, he seemed bigger every day, and perhaps had finally reached adulthood. The young Lannister had dressed him as finely as she had dressed herself. The lion sported a bejeweled collar of beaten golden colored metal. Her dress was crimson, a color that was reminiscent of freshly drawn blood, the sleeves of which she had embroidered swirling golden lions.
“I do not care,” she responded as though his words had been of no consequence. “Should I desire to see the show then I will see the show. We cannot hasten progress.”
“Y-yes, my lady.”
Cerenna covered her mouth with a quick hand to conceal her laughter. The result was a snort that was not at all ladylike. Lucinda cast an amused gaze at her friend and raised an eyebrow.
