A list of puns related to "Lemon Balm"
My most prolific growing herb. But what do I do with it?
I fucking adore phenibut but I try to use no more than once a week, sometimes once every 2 weeks, to keep tolerance low and retain the magic. Would lemon balm feel even remotely close to phenibut? Any other suggestions welcome.
Greetings nootropics depot community. Iβm having a little trouble deciding whether I want to take lemon balm extract tablets or magnolia bark tablets for sleep. My budget allows me to get one. I want to hear experiences from you guys and misteryouaresodumb if you have time to write me your experience with each. I want to know which one is better for taking before bed and I want to know if either of them has any hangover effects into the next morning or if it has any negative effects on your libido or mental sharpness or explosiveness(if you lift weights or do sports). Iβve also read that lemon balm is bad for the thyroid so I wanna know if you guys have had any negative effects regarding that.
Thanks so much everyone.
Edit: Gonna try Magnolia and lemon balm separately. Thanks everyone
I want to take it to improve my sleep quality because I have a messed up sleep schedule but I read that lemon balm decreases thyroid hormones and chamomile decreases testosterone. Is this true? And if so is the effect large enough to affect muscle development? 17/M if it helps.
I have a super aggressive lemon balm plant. What can I make with it? Iβve made simple syrup for mixed drinks which is delicious but other then that...how else to use it?
Any input would be great π
The title says it all, Iβm looking to purchase some bulk herbs to make a homemade sleepy tea for night. Any recommendations where I might be able to find these things would be awesome. Thanks so much!
Can't reduce tolerance for some reason. Took 3 weeks break and nothing happened I can still chug 5-6 mg no prob and don't black out. I wanna black out with 2mg.
Anyway.. Is it bad to drink this stuff while reducing tolerance? Maybe this is why I can't reduce tolerance ?
Permatolerance :(
Some background info:
I suffer from depression and social anxiety since I was 15 (now 21). I tried about 9 different antidepressants (all the SSRIs, SNRIs as well as moclobemide, opipramol, amitriptyline and neuroleptics). None had any effect, zero. I also tried 2 depth psychological therapies and am in a behavioral therapy right now. No effect, no success, zero.
I abused alcohol from 17-19 daily beginning in the morning with hard stuff like vodka as self medication for my social anxiety. Fucked up, I know. I was drunk at school, at sports, at meetups with friends, at dinner with mom. Until I had big addiction and lost my drivers license due to having alcohol 24/7 in my blood. It doesnt work anymore for me. I didnt drink since then. Same for phenibut. Also phenibut is way too addictive and withdrawals make everything so much worse. Kratom sadly has no effect for me (tried different vendors, strains, high doses up to 12g, nothing).
I tried many many supplements, spent way too much money for them and nothing worked.
So whats up now? I read about Lemon Balm and its effects on GABA. GABAergics have been the only substances helpful for me.
My questions:
What have been your experiences with Lemon Balm? Had it some significant effect regarding mood/depression and anxiety especially social anxiety, so talkativeness, verbal fluidity, not thinking about what others might think about you and all the social worrying. Is it worth it? Noticeable, psychoactive, significant or just very subtle near placebo?
What has been your dose? Will it work from the first pill or is it similar to antidepressants that you need to take it for weeks until it starts working?
What are good brands or products that are effective? or will every normal powder do it? Rather normal powder or extract? How do you consume it the best? Tea? Smoking possible?
I bought some melatonin it has lemon balm in it will it break my fast?
Hi guys, so I just strained off my homemade lemon balm tincture and took my first 1ml dose with dropper bottle and I very quickly began feeling the Lymey/fluey symptoms like ears crackling, runny nose etc.. I am wondering is this because the tincture I made is so potent or is because the tincture has been contaminated somehow. I get these symptoms when I am exposed to toxins, mold chemicals etc also.
I have heard of this happening to people when they take potent anti-virals, but I am just confused as to whether or not this is a good thing or if perhaps the batch is compromised. Has anybody experience fluey symptoms like this when starting on anti-virals? Just hard to know, would be very frustrated if I didn't sterilize correctly or if maybe I didn't wash the rainwater off fully, or something along these lines...
Hi everyone, I suffer from generalized anxiety and panic attacks. I am looking for long-term solutions that I can use on a daily basis. I have already tried many SSRIs and have a Xanax prescription for severe anxiety, but I am looking for other options. Lemon balm has been recommended to me as a helpful herbal remedy for anxiety. I have conducted my own research on it and understand that it works on the GABA system, but I have a few questions about this herb.
I actually have a Lemon Balm supplement in my cabinet from Natural Factors called Mind Retreat. It contains 150mg of Lemon Balm, along with 12.5mg of B6, 50mg of magnesium glycinate, and 50mg of PharmaGaba. I haven't tried it yet.
I'm looking forward to hearing what the community has to say, thank you so much!
I'll start off saying I'm sensitive, I have reactions to things, even things that are supposed to be good for you. Reactions for me are chest pounding and high heart rate (very uncomfortable). I've been taking it slow with supplements because of this.
I've been having trouble falling asleep since being back at work so I bought the Vimergy Lemon Balm. The brand I usually buy (but don't take often) was sold out and Vimergy was actually cheaper. I thought I'd give it a shot.
I've taken Lemon Balm before, I've taken Lemon Balm since before knowing about MM info-- it's one of the few things whose effects I can predict and trust. It's always made me sleepy, a little tired and calm.
I took a 1/4 dropper (about 4 drops) to try it out and 10 minutes later my chest is pounding and my heart rate is up. I'm very disappointed and annoyed because I'm trying to fall asleep.
I have the same reaction to the Vimergy Zinc. I know there's been some talk about the glycerin in Vimergy products and it being corn/canola oil derived... according Vimergy its such a small amount it shouldn't do anything, but I have alcohol-free vanilla extract with glycerin and it gives me a reaction too. My Vimergy Zinc has the new flax derived glycerin. The Lemon Balm does not say, 'flax derived".
I also hate the taste of both, my other Lemon Balm smelled like the herb, slightly citrusy and pleasant. This tastes like the Zinc, which might be the apple juice? Might be the glycerin? Idk.
Sorry guys, I'm just getting tired of spending money on supplements to watch them sit on a shelf because I'm unable to take them.
I trust Anthony with all his info, I'm devoted to MM, I will be long after I heal, but I'm really struggling to believe that Vimery is "the best" there is out there.
The previous brand of Lemon Balm I took was New Chapter.
I appreciate any insight xx
Edit: just to add, I made a Lemon Balm tea with 3 tea bags while waiting for the product to arrive, this did not give me any reaction.
